Review of The Crazy Horse

Could be better
Don't get me wrong, there is nothing specifically bad about Crazy Horse. It's situated in a nice area, it has a vibrant buzz about it, it's always packed and is nicely furbished. The problem however is that it doesn't really know what it is at night; during the day it is a good bar and grill, at night however it falls into the ever so common trap of being a club/pub/bar/restaurant all in one. This attracts a massive variety of different people looking for different things. I'll give you an example, I went for a mate's birthday a few months ago, there was a DJ as always on a Saturday night and some people were dancing, others stood and chatted or sat in the scarce areas of seating. Other people came in for a quick drink, others had come expecting a quietish area for a nice chat and beer, others had come to eat. How do you combine all these poeple into a small building? With alot of claustrophobia and discomfort. That's how! Not only do you have to weave your way through the crowd, the crowd is like a pick and mix of North West London's community meaning it ranges from investment bankers to basically high school kids with fake ID (I know because I used to get in ages ago!). I can't say avoid it because it is a nice place, but I can't recommend it too much either. Go at your own risk, this place is much like a lottery.
