Review of The Forum

Tattererd Charm
A great mid-size gig venue with plenty of history and charm. The Forum has hosted some legends over the years, my fave memory being the Libertines in 2003. I think the sound is spot on (if you're in the standing section) and love the shabby elegance of the place - like a lot of classic old London Theatres/venues. Drinks choices are limited, but the 3 downstairs bars mean you shouldn't wait long to get served.

Review of Fino

My favourite restaurant
An exemplary establishment serving exquisitely prepared fresh Spanish delicacies and going so much further than your average tapas restaurant. Fino is a firm favourite of mine for any celebration. Sadly the cost of roughly £50 per head stops me visiting more regularly. Example dishes include diver caught scallops, milk fed lamb and tender suckling pig. Booking is essential. Being impressed with the food and service is optional, but likely!

thirst for romance
I love this place!! Probably best saved for romantic interludes, it serves unpretentious delicious dishes inspired by European cuisine and is the cosiest place you are likely to stumble across in such a central location. I’ve been going there for several years and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone... especially the duck and lentil stew. The wine list is also pretty impressive.

garlic lovers only
This place was pretty busy for such a poor eatery. The waiters were all either aggressive or letcherous and every dish we ordered was overpowered with uncooked garlic. nice! Ok if you're a bus traveller - the station's next door - otherwise dont bother.
