A traditional gem 
You don't get much better than this. It was my local for years and everytime I'm back in Eastbourne it's a 'must visit' place. Great local real ales, friendly unpretentious bar staff and, because it was built in 1180 at the same time as neighbouring St Mary's Church it has genuine atmosphere and Olde Worlde charm.
It's the oldest building in the town and well worth a visit - even if you aren't a seasoned drinker.

Review of Trident Fish Restaurant & Takeaway

Always been good 
This is just what you'd expect from a local chippie. I used to go here as a kid all the time and although it's never going to be the worlds most exotic chip shop, it's just what you need on a lazy midweek day when you can't be bothered to cook. Long live the Trident!
