Ok - could do better 
I treat the salad cart like a round of the Krypton Factor- I'm there piling in the crutons like nobody's business.
The service is usually (not always) friendly but even when they're not busy, the staff rarely have a concept of time, especially if you're in a hurry. Service can be sluggish and sometimes just downright sluggish.

Hilariously bizarre 
This place isn't stylish, it doesn't have the best food and it's not all that well furnished but it has character by the shed load, is extremely quirky and the staff are great. There's no where quite like this in Bournemouth. Stylish posh nosh this isn't but you can't beat a good fry up in a quirky greasy spoon can you?

Social hub 
Penn Central is a great place for socialising and for people in their 20s and 30s this really is THE place if you want to hang out with friendly people. Good food too.
