Lovely food and attentive staff 
This place is tastefully decorated and the staff can not do enough for you to make sure you enjoy your meal. The menu is varied and everything is cooked fresh on the day, served promptly and with generous portions. The prices are fair and I would definately recommend this resturant if you are looking to go somewhere slightly off the main oxford stretch.

Great cocktails
This place is great is you love cocktails as much as me. It is like someones living room up stairs really compact but is perfect to sit and sip your way thorugh the cocktail menu. The staff are really helpful and really know their stuff when it comes to what needs to go into each of the said cocktails! Great - will definately return.

Review of Oxford Covered Market

A great big rabbit warren
Having lived in Oxford for 3 years I can say that for 2 of those years I was ignorant of the covered market however having explored it further in recent months its great, there are over 60 shops within the market mostly independent stores and vary massively, cakes, books, clothes, jewellery, veg, hats, watches you name it I imagine the covered market has it, also what is so nice is to be able to shop in stores that offer items you dont find on the high street so you get more varity. Great place to shop and I think a lot of people really do not realise how much is there.

Review of The Randolph Hotel

Overpriced for what you get 
This hotel is a huge historic hotel in Oxford, however for me it is over rated. Its nice but nothing more than that. The drinks are overpriced and having had a christmas party there were I had to literally climb out of my seat to get us as the seats were so closed together its not a place I rate.

Review of New Theatre

Great theatre on the doorstep
Having gone to lots of shows etc here I can honestly say the new theatre is great theatre to have on your doorstep. The only draw back is as the venue is so old the seats are really close together and there is no air conditioning - I think this could be said for most theatres from this era so I dont hold it against them. Always something on and realy variety in the shows on offer. Something for everyone.

Great summer pub
This pub is great for a hot summer day when you want to have a drink out in the beer garden, it is always packed and you generally have to que to get a drink, the prices are quite expensive and also they dont serve shots so if you want to get on the booze then this is not the place for you, however if you want a quite drink on a sunday afternoon whilst watching the world go by then its perfect!

You always buy something 
This shop is great for gifts and presents, it does a great selection of cards which cant be found in your normal high street card shops plus loads of unusual gifts and items which again generally you dont see on the high street. The staff always seem to have a smile on their face and everytime I have been here I have ended up buying something!

Great cheesy night out
Playing 80's 90's with a few recent tracks thrown in for good measure this place is good for a girls night out to have a few drinks and get dancing! Every time I have been here I have had a great night, the place has been packed and good fun was had by all. It is aimed at the slightly older crowd say 25+ and is far from "cool" but if you want to let your hair down and dont care what anyone thinks of your really bad dancing then this is the place to go!

A great place for ego's on legs
This place is full of students with ego's the size of football pitches with skirts that just about cover their arses! Giving the place a bit of an attitude and if you are not a regualr you are looked down upon as being a very unimportant outsider. That said if you are in your early 20's and want to hang around with people like this then you will have a great time as they do good cocktails and generally place some good music. Not a place I will be going to any time soon!

Review of The Regal

Huge dance floor for a good ol' boogie
This place has just reopened having had a small fortune spent on it - all I can say is that is was money well spent. The decor around the VIP booths and the huge dance floor is impressive to say the least. Although both nights I have been have not been busy it is early days for the venue which across the coming months has some massive names appearing and I can imagine on a busy night the venue is a great place to go. The staff appear helpful and cheerful and the bouncers lightening fast to jump on any potential problems which makes the atmosphere really chilled and relaxed. I will def be returning in the coming weeks!
