Review of Gusto

Gusto restaurant - seriously you'll eat with Gusto here
I love this restaurant. It's on Telegraph Road where Est Est Est used to be. It closed down, had a facelift - a stylish one and came back better than ever as Gusto. The setting is stylish and cosy at the same time and you will most definitely get great food! From mussels and lobster to premium charcoaled steaks and pizzas to die for there really is something for everyone. If you've got a birthday coming up go to Gusto, the staff are great and make a real fuss of you without breathing down your necks and your evening really will be special. It's a 5 star rating from me.

Review of The Boathouse

The Boathouse - brilliant
What a setting! If you can get a table in the conservatory part and look out over the marshes this is one of the best places to be in Wirral. The food is fantastic, great choice on the menu. It's restaurant prices and not pub prices so expect that and you'll be fine. It's best to book and they are great with high seats for families. I've always found the service to be exceptional. Enjoy

Review of Ristorante Italia

Ristorante Italia
This is a really small restaurant beside Global Travel. You can't book so there tends to be a queue of people waiting to go in - always a sign that the food is good. And it is, the portion sizes are good - it takes a hungry person to finish a dish here. The problem is that because people are waiting to come in you do tend to eat and leave fairly quickly and feel a little rushed. In other places you would allow yourself a little downtime after finishing. And I would love it if the older woman there spoke a little more politely to the staff as it makes me feel a tad uncomfortable - but the food is great!

Review of Oxton Bar & Terrace

Oxton bar and Terrace
I love Oxton Bar and Terrace. Yes it gets busy at the weekend but the great thing about the Terrace is that it isn't full of kids making you feel dead old.

Review of JJB Gym

JJB Gym
This is a new Gym and I must confessto be so far removed from being a Gym Bunny BUT I have joined it. It's great. Clean, new. top of the range machines, plenty big enough with enough machines that you're not hanging around waiting for them. Good classes as well. I'm still not a gym convert but think this is as close as I'm likely to get. Oh and the other thing to mention is that the Mirror muscle Gym Jim's are few and far between - hurrah!!

Review of Tokyo Joes

Tokyo Joes - Spital - Excellent
This couldn't be handier for us and I absolutely love it - that reminds me I must be overdue another visit! This restaurant offers what they call Healthy fast food. In essence you pay about £7 for a bowl and then go to the counters and select all the raw ingredients that you want to include in your meal - i.e chicken, raw vegetables and noodles, then you take it to the chef at the hot plate - he cooks it up, you take it back to your seat and lap it up and enjoy. Go along, enjoy it and you'll be raving afterwards.
