Review of Laboratory Spa and Health Club

A nice place to swim. 
The Laboratory or the Lab has a decent swimming pool. It has enough lanes to service its members and they are long and wide enough to allow at least 5-7 people in each lane. However the swimming pool depth was quite shallow so it is impossible to dive. Even so it is possible to have a very productive swim in their pool.
The Lab also has a small "cafe" which serves mainly fruit smoothies and drinks which are all made upon order. They also serve some light refreshments and several slightly bigger dishes. These include scrambled egg and pasta with tomato sauce. Inside the "cafe" there is also a variety of newspapers which are bought every morning so you may catch up on the news.
Children were only allowed on sunday mornings, however this may have changed since I was last there. The children were encouraged to use a part of the swimming pool which was not laned allowing adults to continue to swim peacefully.
Overall it is a nice health club but their are many others which have better facilities.

Review of Toffs

You Must try their fish and chips! 
As Tom P. says Toffs definitely has earned their many awards for being the fish and chip shop of the year.
Parking in the area is terrible pretty much all year round but especially on weekends. If you do come by car instead of the 102 bus, I suggest you park in the Marks and Spencers car park.
Toffs do a very reasonable lunchtime fixed menu for about £5 (from memory) You get to choose between Cod or Rock and weather you want it steamed or battered. They serve this with a Tea a soft drink and of course chips and a salad. I always find that for a lunchtime meal this is a very good deal.
If you are not keen on batter Toffs do another type of batter which is much lighter and not so oily. If you ask for matzo meal instead of batter they will do it free of charge.
For the pudding I suggest their chocolate pudding if you have room for it. It is not amazing quality but it is still very nice for the chocoholics out there.

Review of Broadway Pet Stores

A wonderful pet store. 
The Broadway pet store has a very friendly atmosphere and is great for getting advice and help in choosing new pets or about the care of your current ones. Although the store seems quite constricted for space and disorganized, there is organization amidst the chaos. The pricing of the animals and accessories are very fair and the quality is incredible. They managed to find a squeaky toy which took my dog a month to break, which breaks the record of one week!
