super 5*

I took my daughter in here and spent a forune. she has taken up the art of cardmaking. you can get everything you could ever need from here. they sell reams of paper in all manner of colours and you just fill up a box. they have an amazing array of craft items on display the lady serving was also very helpful and advised us on what glitter to buy

Review of Tesco Stores

awful 1*

Ihave nightmares in this place. it is really difficult first of all to park, and then some times I have been and they have actually run out of trollyies inside it is just a free for all as it is so busy. a nightmare if you are trying to do a quick shop, note you can't/ there also seems an abundance of small children wandering around avoid at all costs

good amenities 5*

this camp site has to one of the best in devon. I have stayed here numerous times with my parents. there are good washing facilities and there is a park for the children to play in. the showers are clean and plenty of hot water. there is also a swimming pool, but it isn't heated! overall 5 stars

Review of The Body Shop

30 Apr 08, 19:31

smells fab 4*

I can smell a body shop at fifty paces. this store is very well laid out and great if you are pushing a push chair. the lady on make up helped me chose a new foundation by putting some into a small sample pot and letting me try it out at home, before I bought the full size version. excellent staff product knowledge

Review of Dingles Of Plymouth

30 Apr 08, 19:14

super store 5*

I love the whole feel of Dingles as we do not have one in Barnstaple. the shop is very light and airy and very well laid out. there is a cfe on the very top floor which is a bit awkward to get to if you have a push chair, but lovely views form the window. the perfumery department is very modern and chic. well worth a visit

Review of The Disney Store

30 Apr 08, 19:12

small but perfectly formed 3*

I had been looking for a gift to take back to Devon for my 2 daughtere. the Disney store had a beutiful array of fairly resonable priced gifts that would not break the bank. I f you need to buy small gifts in London for little girls and do not want to spen a fortune than the store here in Covent Garden is the place to go

Review of Harrods

30 Apr 08, 19:10

fairly impressive 3*

I had never been here until about a year ago. I had built up in my mind what the store would be like and to be absolutely truthful, it was much smaller than I amagined. the most impressive part for me personally was the food hall. I have never seen such an array of chocolates, fruit and packaged goodies. the store was a litlle confusing to make you way around and I got lost a couple of time. would recommend for a one off visit!

we brought our children here when they were quite young it helped thatthe admission was free so as we were on a very tight budget it made a good day out for us all. the trains were amazing. there was a coach that had been used by royalty and it was stunnibg. all in all we had a super day. I really would recommend it for a young family
