Review of National Trust

30 Apr 08, 19:02

loved it 5*

I came here on a really hot sunny day. the walk around the castle walls was breath taking. the garden is also very well laid out and easy to get around there is a small shop that sells all the usual National Trust gifts. this really is one of the most spectacular National Trust properties to visit

Review of Marwood Hill Gardens

an english country garden 4*

I came here with my mum just after my dad died, and it gave us both a bit of piece and tranquility. the gardens are stunning but flow so you do not feel as though you are in a "park" we also had tea and cakes at the cafe. they were very pricey and did not have a huge selectio. but on the whole it really was a beautiful place to go

excellent 4*

came here withmy children when they were quite young. takes you through a journey in time to see how the vikings came to this country. you sit on alittle train and it takes you trhough the centries. they even have cooking pot aromas as you go by. very interesting. helped my daughter with a school project. well worth going

this reminds me of my granny 3*

I have vivid memories of being dragged in here by my granny still the shop is the same and the quality of stuff is still good. York is the place to go for charity shopping. I love it!

Review of Woolworths

28 Apr 08, 21:47

good for a bargain 5*

woolworths never changes. it alsway has a sale on. how do they do it. when they sell something cheap they almost give it away. only thing I don't like is how the store is laid out . to much zig zagging around for me
