this is tradition at its best 
Marks and Spencers, as English as fish and chips love it here. as the saying goes if it ain't broke don't fix it. I have been able to get apricot swiss roll for the last 25 years and it is still the same amazing quality!!

good lighting dept
the clothes in here are a little samey. the best bit is the housewares and lighting department. they have a relly good range of lamps and fittings. the prices are amazing too. you would pay a lot more elsewhere

another world
I fell as though I have been transported to London somewhere when I come in here. it is very swish and extremely posh the staff are a little above themselves. but I suppose dealing with posh people all the time does give them a bit of attitude!

bit of a muddle 
not the biggest debenhams that I have been in. the store seems to be a bit of a muddle and I am not really sure of the layout, despite being in here many times. never the less at slae time you can always bag a bargain

how much?? 
this is a stunning shop to look at form the outside. it is also beauifully lais out inside. but I do feel awkward in here and constantly as though I am being watched. never mind, I couldn't afford to but anything in here anyway!

Ilove it in here. I wish i could afford to kit myself out form top to toe the fabrics are stunning ang the styling is superb to the staff are always helpful and frinedly when ill we get an East store in North devon??

I'm at home!!
I love next . they are very predicable with their styling , but you can always get what you are looking for they are the only place that I can get a pair of jeans that fits a little shorty like me without the trouser legs being half mast!

my twice a year treat
on my twice yearly visits to york this is the place I go when I wnat to be treated like a queen. I can just imagine for half an hour that I am somebody special what more can I say. makes my journey to yorkshire worth it

the staff in here are very aloof. I always feel as theough they think I am a potential shoplifter. never mind I suppose they are only doing their job. clothes are ok but a bit pricey for me
