upmarket primark 
this place is like primark except it is more expensive! the store is well laid out and there are plenty of changing room facilities. the staff are helpful if a bit thi on the ground. would probably not go again, but the title of the shop sounded good, I thought it woudl be more stylish!

this is an old ladies place. if you need a good black skirt then this is the place to go. the staff are helpful, because they are a little more mature. the changing rooms are very spacious, and well lit.

not the best
dotty p'as is very disappointing these days. the staff can't be bothered and quite frankly I think it must be the clothes that are depressing them. the only redeeming feature is the shoe department. they had some lovely white shoes which were a good price!

Butons do not seem to have changed over the years. the sizing for men is on the small side. my husband can't fit into any of their stuff. the range on dispaly is good but if a little samey. 2 changing rooms at the back. not the best place I have been to

all in a good cause
this place has some really good bits and pieces. not as well laid out as some shops but still good. there is one small cahnging room, but they were not busy so that was not a problem I would visit again as I am a cat lover

this is not a chain charity shop so you know that every penny spent in here goes to a good cause. the staff were very helpful there was a good range of brick a brac on display. the clothing was a bit of a muddle but well worth sorting through

could do with a makeover
this shop is in need of a makeover. it was quite dispaointing inside. it also smelt a bit old , so they could really do with sorting out their stock the lady behind the counter was very cheerful, but beware the curtain on the changing room doesnt fully go across!

this is a well lais out and organized charity shop. the clothing is done by colour rather than size. smell nice inside not fusty like some charity shops the shop is well lit and has a really good book section at the back

huge!!
this is huge compared with the next in Barnstaple. the range of goods is the same as you would get anywhere. the staff are a bit thin on the ground but generally a nice place to go. changing rooms are quite spacious so you don't have to queue for very long

this is probably the smallest principles in the country! the range is very limited but you can get a complet outfit if you look hard.changing room space is limited so beware! worth a look but not as good as some stores

I could be anywhere!!
this store is exactly the smae lay out as the store in Barnstaple. the stock is exactly the same as it is evry season except a different colour! the service is quick and friendly and the staff seem quite jolly. the store is very warm so beware!

stunning
this shop is set out over 2 floors, so if you have an elderly aunt or a pushchair it is prbably best to avoid. the childrenswear was upstairs which seemed a bit daft as I couldn't grt my pram up ther! overall good, but staff seemed a little thin on the ground

a alrge well laid out store that was pram freindly the price of the clothing was really cheap. I kitted out my daughter in polo shirts for school for just a few pounds the staff were helpful but the queueing system for the till was a bit haphazard. overall good.

biggest in Devon!
this is one of m and s's flag ship stores. it is laid out over 2 floors with good lift access and a central escalator that helps you move from floor to floor. the store is well laid out and there were plenty of staff dotted around. my husband bough a suitand the lady helped us find a suitable 17.5 neck size shirt!

this place was very traditional. the range of pasties was stunning from steak and stilton to chicken curry, you name it they seemed to have it. service was a little slow and the staff seemed a little hastled, I suppose you can't have everything!

jumble sale 
this shop was an absolute mess. the staff obviously took no pride in their stock. I left after only a few miniutes as I just could not bring myself to wade through all the bits and pieces. very disappointing. hope that this was just a one off!

my friend has just inherited an aga , so this was the ideal place to get her a present. the lady in the shop seemed to know everything there was to know about agas and helped me to pick out a suitable dish for my friend the store was well presented and the beuty for me was the lady working there who new her stuff!!

interesting
this place always fascinates me. they always seem to have a reduced section and the prices are quite reasonable. the stock is well displayed, although they do not have vast quatities on display, so I had to ask an assistant for another mug, but she disappeared and got me another one. my goods were really well packaged up for me as I said I had a long journey back to Devon

this place was lovely and quiet when I went with my aunt. the food was served piping hot and I think we just beat the lunch time rush. seating was tight and the toilets were lovely and clean. good menu and prices were reasonable

store was a vibrant mass of casual clothing and the styles were fabulous, if only I could afford their stuff!! staff were very helpful and my purchase was put into a trendy paper carrier bag. service was good and the girl behind the till also directed me to the tk max!
