great food and service 
plenty of room in this place if you can get a seat. they are quite busy so it is probably best to book beforhand and not just turn up enjoyed my meal and the service was fairly good the nrange of meals available was varied, the only thing that let it down was the dessert menu, they could have a bit more variety

how great to find a purely vegatarian place. the food is really simple and contains items that you would definitely try at home. the whole atmosphere is good and there is a really feeling of kama in the air!! nice to think that you can manage without eating meat !

this is one indian takeaway I would recommend place is clean and tidy and the place always seems to be busy, which is a good sign the menu is vast and I like the pehwari naan that they do well worth trying, and you can ring your order through which is helpful

great evening out
having been to the one in barnstaple ,I thought I would give this one a try. I was pleasantly suprised, the food arrived quickly and was piping hot service was good and the waitress kept checking to see if we needed any more drinks thoroughly enjoyed my evening. not cheap but well worth it

the man who runs this place certainly knows his onions!! I have seen him at work on the television and he is a truely talented chef. although he is obviously not here all the time, this restaurant is up there with the best in the country. the food is fab and so is the service

you can't go wrong
when in doubt as to what to eat for lunch a cheese and onion pasty and apineapple tart ticks the box everytime. service is very quick and they put the cakes into a nice white box to carry in if you get a selection would definitely recommend. oh and prices are great to, what more could you want

this stor brings out the romantic in you. the perfect place to buy cards gifts jewellery etc the shop is a bit on the small side and I would definitely not take young children in here unless you want to foot a huge bill the shop really has everthing you would ever need for that spaecial occasion

this is the place to go if you do not have money to burn but want a good cup of tea or coffee and s plate of filling food. prices are good and service is quick. staff are friendly . bit tight for space if you have a push chair, but on the whole overall good value for money

my frind treated me to lunch here and they do thte most amazing homity pie, cheese and onion in a pastry case. plenty of seating. even if they look full it is worth queuing as there is plenty of seating at the back. would definitely recommend

this place is in desperate need of a makeover!! there are so many coffee shops in Exeter that this one does not really stand out as offering anything special. in its favor the staff were helpful, but that was about the only positive thing I could say. Toliets could have done with a clean!

this place is always busy, so best time to go is just before 11am or just after 2 pm the service is good but can take a little time if there is a queue. prices are average. seating is tight and not really a place to take young children

love it
I love the feel of this place. it is what it says on the door. a french cafe. it has a real good feel good factor. the staff are very helpful and genuinely want to help you enjoy your coffee and croisant. I find the lighting a bit dim, but then I do go in on a hot summers day, must be nice in winter! really popular so avoid peak times, as you could be waiting a while for a table

I wish we had a starbucks in barnstaple. the place is stunning and does a really good range of cakes and coffee.seating is a bit tight, I suppose they don't intend for you to stay long! love it noe the less. bit on the pricey side but then cheaper than going to America!

great if you have little ones
this is the place to go if you have small children and need to have a bit of a rest from shopping. not many places these days are child friendly so it is a real change to find some where that caters for kids. would recommend, as you can go with a couple of friends, park up, have a natter and then carry on with your day

it is an oasis!!
I love this store as we do not have one in North Devon, the shop is very tranquil, and the style of clothing is always fresh and exciting. the shop is well laid out and the staff are very helpful. the fitting rooms could do with being a bit bigger, or maybe I have put weight on!

only visit when there is a sale!
why get a white tee shirt from here when you can get one from primark for a £1 !! anyway rant over. on the whole this store is good, and the staff are friendly if a bit young. saturday is mayhem and it takes forever to wait for the changing rooms, but as the quality of stock is good but a bit pricey, worth trying on before you buy

tradition at its best
when I lived in Yorkshire this was the place to go to buy specail toffee. I am now delighted the chain has progressed south. they do an amazing range of toffees and chocolates. the store in Exeter is quite small but has everything you could need to geta last minute present for somebody special

disappointing
this place really winds me up. the store is a real mis mash of departments.it is very difficult to negotiate if you have a pushchair, so it does not make it child friendly at all. the house wares is in the basement ( my favorite department) but it feels very claustraphobic, and really hot in the summer.

have never had a duff mael here. you do get what you pay for. i also like the fact that if you can't eat all of your pizza, which normally I can't, they put the surplus in a box and you can take it home with you. that means you get a free meal the next day !! canny hey!!!

good for a bargain
oxfam is the first word in cutting edge charity shopping. the clothes are grouped colour wise in main clumps and then all of the other clothes lasi out in colour co ordinated rows, so you know exactly where to look for that little black top. good display of books also always on show

this is teenage heaven, but a parents nightmare. all the clothes in here are miles to small for the average person. I tried on a top, I am an average size 10, I had to get a size 16 in order for me to get it over my head!
