great place 
great food and great atmosphere. this is the locals local. have been going for years but have had a few owners over time. restaurant at the moment is good and the food very up market. don't know how long the locals will put up with posh food though

excellent 
friends had their wedding reception here. the venue was lovely. just the right size room for about 100 people. good parking facilities. easy access from barnstaple. well worth considering for a party or maybe get together for the family
