this is a great little pub, but parking is an absolute nightmare. the road is so narrow that it is not even worth contemplating the pub itself is good and is full of old world charm excellent service from friendly staff

beware they are charging now

I can't believe it, for years this car park has been free and now they are charging. this is absoulte nonsense. this will just encourage people to jam up the side streets, as people hate paying for parking, especially my friend moley!!!

Very pleasant

Situated in Braunton, the largest village in Britain, indeed. Varied menus through the year to follow the seasons, good accommodation. Live music regularly.

good food and drink

this place is now spilling out onto the streets in braunton. they do excellent food and have a very good reputation they also have accommodation, so if you are stuck, you can always get a room here. parking can be a problem, they do have there own carpark but it fills up quickly

Review of Loose-Fit Surf Shop

changed again

I can't keep up with this place! first its a garage then its a cafe and now its a surf shop. loose fit is a well know brand , but you have to cross a very busy main road to get to this one, bit of a hazard iin the summer. only advantage is I suppose you can hover outside in the car for a few minutes, whilst somebody goes in, but a bit of a trek to get to. there are a few chairs to sit on outside, so if you have kids with you it is ideal!

cycle heaven

you can get everything you need in here without having to tripse into Barnstaple. they sell a good range of sporty bikes, but more importantly the accessories that go with them. the man behind the counter certinaly knows his stuff and was very helpful and full of advice. would definitely recommend

beautiful pictures

I bought my mum a stunning beach scene from here. the frames are beautiful , but not only that they sell lovely prints to go in tehm. the lady that helped me was very friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble when I kept changing my mind. prices were a litlle high, but things are actually made as one offs so expect to pay that litle bit more

alright

this is another of brauntons many surf shops. they all bgin to look like each other after a while. one redeeming feature for this store is the service. the staff are really clued up on product knowledge.parking is not brilliant but it is only a hop from the car park, which by the way you now have to pay for!! so beware

first of its kind

Tiki was one of the original surf shops in Braunton. now the place is full of them. Tiki have been going for a slong as I can remember. they sell really good quality, no nonsense surf gear. they are favored by the real surfers not those who like the look. it is a little dimly lit inside, but I don't think that has affected their sales!

on the corner!

this place could do with a good lick of paint form the outside but it is very welcoming when you go inside. they are always doing themed evenings and the owners are really working hard for their money. parking is tricky now that Braunton charges for its free car park, but well worth the effort

fabulous

I see this shop everytime I stop at the traffic lights in Braunton. they have an amazing range of surf wear style clothing. prices are not cheap, but when it is sale time you can get a real bargain. there is always a good selection of shirts and tee shirts and they co ordinate beutifully. the staff are typicall surffy dudes and are very laid back so they could do with a bit of a rocket, but apart form that a lovely place to shop

this has been here for years

despite being taken over several times this place always looks good from the outside. the current new owners have spent quite a bit on doing the placew up. they also cater for weddings and christenings. prices are good

I would thoroughly recommend this cattery. each cat is kept in a spacious enclsure and well lokked after. the cattery is easy to find and is the right end of Braunton so that you do not get stuck in traffic. prices are on par with all other catteries

mum took her dog here to be clipped, unfortunately the poor dog did not have a very good time. shame really as we then had to take him somewhre else to be re clipped. would not recommend or use again

has been in braunton for years sell all the habardashery things that you could see in department stores form years ago. Braunton has a huge retired population so it is a one stop shop for them. from vests to big knickers

convenient location

handy for croyde and Saunton. very spacious campsite with all local amenities nearby. on the edge of a quiet housing estate. shop on the site which just sells the basics. prices on oar with other local campsites. you can get to saunton beach in about 7 minutes

wide range of local artist and their work on display. many items are for sale also. so if you fall in love with something you can take it home with you. good display of local crafts also. when I went with my mum we also enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee and piece of cake.
