I used to come here as a child so this must have been open for years! the place could relly do with a refit there is a nice palce that you can sit to warch the swimming if you don't want to go in yourself overall not bad

love the smell
this place has the typical aroma of a leather shop. they have a really good range of leather goods from bags, slippers, rugs and jackets. prices are not too bad , but I would say the quality is far better than the high street chain store

cheap and cheerful 
this place stocks everything that is cheap and tacky. usually things that you don't really need either. handy if your children want to spend some pennies, thaey will get plenty for their pound the shop could do with a good tidy though, seemed a bit of a pickle when I went in

all in a good cause
this is the place to go to support your local RNLI, who do such a marvellous job. all the usual paraphanalia on sale, good place to go and get some sea faring post cards! staff are volunteers so nothing is too much trouble

not too bad
this place is not too bad compared with other gift shops in the town. they sell the usual nic nacs and sticky rock kind of stuff. they are very friendly and polite. they have enough room inside to negotiate arond with a pushchair, unlike some of the gift shops nearby

these places are lacking in any form of imagination at all. the things you can buy in here are probably left over from the season, before last season, before last season. the only positive thing are the cheefrful owners! goods, cheap and cheerful, staff not!

service was good and the staff were freindly. menu was a little limited, ok if you are not vegetarian.!!! the prices were ok , pretty average. avoid in the summer as it is heaving with grockles. best time to go is out of season.

close your eyes and enjoy 
I wasn't sure what to expect from this place, but was pleasantly suprised. the food was served piping hot and the quality of the chicken was excellent. I was alo very impressed with the cleanliness of the place 5 star rating from me!

exceptional food
this is one of the best indian restaurants in Ilfracombe, the staff are very helpful and the food is lovely. the prices are very reasonable and you can have a really good eveing out with out it breaking the bank. the paintwork could do with a lick of paint but that is the only negative thing I can think of to say

love the tapas 
these places are getting really trendy now. the tapas is to die for. I love the whole nibble factor you can eat a little or a lot depending on how you are feeling. these are great sharing dishes and they are beautifully cooked and presented. would definitely recommend

look at my scones!
this place truely does the best cream tea in town. they are known for their huge portions and are very good value. the 2 ladies that run this place are an absolute scream. especially the dark haired one she is elluva!!!!

lovely cake
I am always in search of the perfect coffee shop, this one wafts that certain coffee smell as you walk by. my favorite thing from here is apricot and almond tart with clotted cream, an absolute delight and well worth travelling from Barnstaple to Ilfracombe .the interior could do with brightening up,but I'm sure the locals love it just the way it is , I do!

a little gem
not a big place , but to save you going out of town then it is well worth a visit here. they have a good selection of gardening supplies, should you have run out of the essentials. probably not the place to go for major purchases. prices are not cheap, but you do have the convenience of staying in town. the lady that served me seemed to know her stuff and gave me some good tips on went to plant out my little seedlings

an interesting read
this place has a really good selection of books form non fiction and fiction. it is well laid out and you could while away a good hours browsing around. they also have a selection of crafty stuff so you can kill 2 bird with one stone. love the cookery book selection. I always jusdge a good book shop by its cookery books!

good cause
I think I have been into every charity shop in the county. this rates up there with the highest. well organised inside and the clothing is well sorted. to help you laocate what you are looking or. the staff are very helpful bit tight for push chair space so be warned. I love their selection of books, they are priced very modestly

smells so good
I love this place as it smeels so good. fudge is adictive stuff so one bag is never enough. fudge is not cheap , but then it is all handmade and packed on the premises so you do get what you pay for

reminds me of my youth!
used to go in here when I was growing up. it wasn't too busy and they had a great pool table at the back of the pub. staff friendly and willing to stop and chat. good range of basic beers and ciders also available

this place is tucked away but really convenient for those last minute bits and pieces that you may need. prices are a little steep and service a little slow. but if you need something it beats a drive up to Tescoes

this place hums with activity. it is you usual spar store with all their own brands on sale. there is also a post office at the back of the shop. this tends to overspill queue wise into the main spar shop.

this place has been going for as long as I can remember. it will be a sad day when they shut up shop. they are part of the social fabric of Ilfracombe. staff are lovely and have been there for years too!
