Great Service and a really nice guy too. This man works on his own and is a credit to the industry he represents. Nothing is too much trouble, always happy to go the extra mile etc etc. Highly reccomended.

Hidden Gem 
The Bank is one of those pubs that you always wish you went to more often. Great food & beer, really nice staff & the manager Ray is a top bloke. One of the best venues in the area to watch Joey the Lips!!!

Know your product 
I was recently looking at a second hand Citroen but it didn't have cruise control that I need for longer journeys due to a dodgy knee (my age I think) Anyway I had the idea to get Citroen to retro fit cruise to the car then it would be ok. How difficult could it be? maybe a little expensive but if the car was the right one at the right price it would be worth it. After consulting a number of departments the lad on the phone informed me that it couldn't be done. What a shame I thought. However a quick search on the internet found a company who could supply (and fit if needed) a complete system including standard Citroen controls for around £300. If you're going to be a brand's main dealer you need to hone up on the advice you give about your own brand!!!

If you're in the market for any pine or oak furniture you won't find a nicer company to deal with than Devon Pine & Oak. There's so much stuff in their huge showroom you'll be spoilt for choice. Best of all for me the Owner Steve is an Argyle fan too.

From the outside it might not look like the most inviting place in the world but step inside & you will be greeted with great food at sensible prices, warm friendly staff that make you feel as though your custom really is wanted and the view while you have your slice of home baked cake & cup of tea is possibly one of the best views in the world

The Best in the West...
Not many city's can claim to have a truely local football club, but that is exactly what we have in Plymouth with Plymouth Argyle Football Club. Now the new family stand is up and running with free kids face painting it's even better. Added to that I've just seen the prices of the season tickets & the 0% interest deal. No excuse really, see you down the devonport end

The Wheelers, Torpoint
Although it's still called the wheelers hotel it hasn't been a hotel for years. Converted years ago by the then owner Charlie White this was for many many years THE place to go out in Torpoint. Over the years it's boasted some top Dj's including Ali Yeoman, Gavin Marshall, Shagger Sheriff, Martin Mills & Matt "Mutley" Williams. Unfortunately it's changed hands now & is well past it's prime, don't wast your time, go to Plymouth instead....

Great mix of a local village feeling pub & a great country pub/restaurant. This is one of those establishments that really does source as much produce locally. If you can tear yourself away from the steak then the mussels are to die for... enjoy.

Without hospital radio Plymouth it's very very unlikely that I would be here at all. It's not just me either, most of the presenters who have graced our speakers over the years honed their skills at HRP. They've just won a couple of national awards too, Long may it continue.
