Small and dingy 
It's all very cool, too cool and that's the problem. It reminds of something quite studenty and I didn't really like it. the trouble with bath is it's so historic that you can't do a lot with the building so you feel quite claustraphobic becuase the rooms are so small. It felt a bit dirty in their, plus side is th emusic is quite cool.

Dreadful 
This is the only nightclub in Plymouth and it is dreadful. Where shall I start..
The toilets are so small you have to be a size zero to use them, the doors don't lock and they feel like coffins. Upstairs the doors have been cut off at the top and the bottom prsumeably to stop people doing drugs or having sex, however you feel like you have lost all privacy.
The smoking is so crowded you ended up being burnt or having a drink spilt on you. The other choice is to smoke in the street where you are rather gruffly told by the door staff "No drinks outside"
The door staff are rude and not all curteous.
The club itself is in need of updating, it's trying to be to many things at once. I would like to see another night club opening in Plymouth. One which doesn't have people puking in corridors and behaving like normal people rather than animals.
As a Gay woman this is the only Gay nightclub in plymouth and it really is a dreadful let down. The manager is a nice man who does his best but you simply can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear!

It's got better
Sam's used ot be the only nightclub in Exmouth so because they had the people of the town as a captive audience the club was pretty poor. However since a second club has opened along with several bars that have a late liscence they seem to have got their act together.
last time i was in their however the toilet were a bit shabby and again we were served drinks out of random childliek beakers, probably to stop breakage but as someone who likes a drink in a real glass i didn't really enjoy it.

not my ideal night 
The smoking ban into force last year. so having to stand outside in the rain and chuck my fag butt on the street was not my idea of fun. You woul dhave though they could have made some provision for smokers.
The door men were fairly intimidating and the glasses also seemed to be childrens style beaker things. I like my drinks poured in an adult tall glass and having to sup out of stubby beakers was rubbish.
I can only assuem they got trouble with people breaking glasses so all in all i was not impressed. and they don't sell certain spirits because people will get drunk!!! But they sell lots of other alchol so persumeably people don't get drunk on vodka, whiskey, wine etc etc

A really good night out 
Call me odd that I like to go into a lap dancing club but the atmosphere is wicked. Women should consider visiting this club because the men are respectful there is not the usual air of testosterone that fills th eair of nightclubs, you can always get served without having to wait and you can always get a seat. Plus the girls that work their are really friendly.
