Review of The Ivory Restaurant

15 Sep 08, 18:13

Surprisingly good Indian 4*

Away from the city centre near the Highfields estate is this local Indian restaurant. It's far from your typical old-school Indian restaurant, so if that's what you like then The Ivory, with its modern building and clean, unfussy decor is not for you.

The most important thing is the food is brilliant. It's got the usual suspects but it has some good contemporary, tasty dishes on the menu - the Goan King Prawn curry is fab. And it's reasonably priced - main dishes start at around £7.
