Lovely gnocchi
This branch of the Italian chain is one of the newest and is spread over two floors in a fab Georgian building. Downstairs they have room for a delicatessen as well as the restaurant. And I think you can hire out the space on the first floor for private dinning / parties.
Menu and prices are the same here as other branches across the country - it just is a lovely venue. Good selection of pastas, risottos, meat and fish. Love the gamberoni (grilled king prawns) and the gnocchi. Also check out the specials, including the wines.

Review of Bertorellis Of Covent Garden

Quality Italian
Decent Italian a stones throw away from the Opera House and the heaving masses in Covent Garden.
Probably the darkest branch of the Bertorelli's chain and the decor is in need of a little updating - the Charlotte Street and Frith Street branches are brighter and lighter. But it is definitely cosier and more intimate here.
Food is good quality Italian with a range of fish, meat and pasta dishes on offer. It also has daily specials. Good flavours - especially the linguine vongole (if you like clams). Service is good - attentive but not overwhelming.
Save some room for dessert or at least coffee, both of which are good.

Review of Ooze Risotto Bar

Variety is the rice of life!
I went to Ooze for a friend's birthday dinner and was pleasantly surprised as I thought that specialising in just risotto might be a bit limiting. But they proved me wrong. Good menu with some classic risottos (try the Fruitti de Mare) but also some more unusual (butternut squash, hazelnuts and sage). Great for veggies too.
It's very reasonably priced and is a good choice for a group of diners with different budgets. Given that we were a group of 12 the service was prompt and everyone was served at the same time :)

Review of Sergios

Italian gem!
I've been eating at Sergios on and off for almost 10 years and it is still one of my favourite Italian restaurants. The staff are attentive, often bonkers but always fun and service is prompt. The menu has good pizza, an excellent risotto marinara and fresh daily specials - order the chargrilled asparagus starter when in season - and good house wine.
A fab spot for a team lunch.
