Massive
As Joel S says in another review, getting a table at lunchtime can be really difficult, but don't let this put you off.
Let's not beat around the bush here.....the sandwiches are HUGE!!!! Generously filled and lovely 'doorstop' bread.
I'm not a big fan of saltbeef but have it on good authority that it really hits the spot.
Well worth a visit. Oh, randomnly they seem to call everyone that comes in John or Dave.

A cut above
This Indian Restaurant in the heart of Kentish Town offers something a little different to your normal takeaway fare.
It has a 'restaurant feel' rather than a takeaway with a restaurant attached. The menu is more specialist too, with some really interesting things on the menu, including some beautiful highly spiced dishes.
It gets quite busy and I think really contributes to the continual rejuvination of the Kentish Town area

Food Glorious Food!
This place is great. Never had a bad meal. Ever.
The menu is changed on a daily basis and booking is advisable (just a few days in advance). Having said that, if you just turn up you can usually order food and eat in the main pub rather than in the restaurant part.
A proper gastropub in every sense of the word. The portions are big, the menu is original and when you can't decide what to have....the steak is always excellent.
Stop reading this and book a table!!
