very good food and they really to profess with the seafood here. The chef is top quality and they now have been awarded with a michelin star! The parking is on the opposite side of the road and they btake booking for 3 months ahead! Very good for entertaining the boss!

this used to be the place to go but it seems to have the life sucked out of it! the food is quality and i have to say the service is pretty good too, the only problem is that the landlord has changed many times over the last two yrs and it doesnt go down well with the drinkers!

Relaxed
very clean and tidy in the recpetion and that was so important to us when we need our cat injected for nits! They really did treat us like kings and yes they were expensive but it was worth the cost. The cat felt ok and we were relaxed when we saw what they could do for us!!

nothing is too small or too big for these guys, they have been on the estate since the business park was built and he has grown since then! Pat still works upstairs and he will knock all the competiktion to the wall on price and supply, he has 10 vans all over the county and goes down as far as exeter!!

This tyre place has branches all over north devon and really does have the lead on prices to be honest. They are really busy normally and will serve both trade and public clients! They do need time to get booked in and may need to deliver your car back if need be! Very good company though

second too pat williams in the town, they have most of the parts you need for your car, they will supply most of the traders in norht devon plus they have a counter for the public to buy from! The prices are much better than going to the local halfords to be honest!!

The local office for the local regional tv company. The office is pretty small but the news guys here are very helpful. They will encourage the public to visit and the studios are quite cool to have a look at! The office isnt open every day of the week but if you call then book in a visit then they will be happy to see people.

A real favourite of my partner and daughters. they have all that is trendy here and all the accessories you could ever imagine. The shop is pretty messy mind as there are ladies who feel it worth trying stuff on in the shop rather than queeing for the changing rooms.

A very clever place to put this supermarket as it is surrounded by the main housing estate in southill, so many heads live here and support the local market! They dont seem to have so many deals as you`ll get at asda and the like but its local and very near to home for these people. the car park is a little small though

The local cheap shop for shoes and its huge! they will sell you the novelty slippers and all the trendy fury boots that are in fashion at the moment! It does tend to smell of plastic when you walk in here as they dont really deal in leather here. My daughter did love her simpson slippers from here though

The biggest and the main amusement arcade in weymouth. You can bet quite a huge amount of money here too as they hold poker games etc in a big room at the back for certain people and at certain times of the week. Gets completely packed in the summer so good if you dont want to lose too much money

This one is right at the end of the main road running alongside the beach, built in amongst the lawns/trees and tends to get very involved in the fair when it comes down throughout the summer hol`s. The 2p coin machines are fab and the sonic the hedgehog games here are just the best!! watch what you spend though!! hehe

A very nice pub in a very dorset village. The pub food here is very good quality and you def wont go home hungry!! The parking is good but you will find that most people that visit here are walkers and incorporate it in their afternoon out! Very much worth a visit!!

This is probably the most popular cafe in bridport but it does tend to attract alot of the school kids etc when the schools kick out! They supply some lovely homemade cakes and the service is very patient, but then it does need to be alot of the time! Very nice on a saturday morning if you get in here early.

I really love this place, its fantastic that they are able to kkep the bee`s here and produce the honey they do! I have to admit though the honeyt in the shop isnt all produced here and the trip around the bees doesnt take very long but it is great to visit with the kiddies, they loved to see the honey bees at work!!

Cornwall st is suffering at the moment because of the new drakes circus and the BHS store is suffering more than most! Thsi store is a little shabby and the displays are pretty bady done. The stock is still quite old fashioned and the staff dont seem to be that interested to be honest!!

The pub is very busy on several of the nights with locals playing in the games leagues, darts, poole and table skittles! Very much the earthy fashion shop located on the way down to the beach. Charmouth is renowned for its fossils and the fashion shop relates to that and the people it attracts. Very earthy, very unique and very high quality! Open for most of the year but closes in the depths of the winter!

Supplied by the local brewer Palmers they still have poole and darts teams in the local league, the atmosphere is good on a match night but does tend to get very clicky in here with much of the drinkers coming from Bradpole and they all know each other!

we`ve all juts been here and i think the fact that it was bank holiday was a bit of a mistake! the wait for a seat was very long them they just didnt have enough staff on to cope with the orders! we didnt get our food for 40 min so they kindly gave us 50% off the bill, good in the end but watch when you go here. Food is lovely when you get it!!

The original supermarket for the town before the tesco came to town a few yrs ago! Its right in the middle of the town so still gets an awfull lot of business. They have some gt 3 for 2 offers here and my kids love the fresh bread etc you can get from here! Still very worth a visit!

One of the oldest and best equiped agencies in the town but i have to say they are one of the least professional of them all! their head office is very grand but their office is down at the bottom end of the town near blue arrow! They have a pretty big office, nice enough staff who do seem interested but not as sharp as i would like!

They do try and keep you top the type of industry your in but dont really give you enough lead time for a new position! With the refurbishment nearly done i think it will keep this agency pretty near the top for positioning you into a new career.

right opposite the M&S of the city and near the main shopping centre, this traditional jeweller is i would say one of the busiest! Its inbetween the samulas and the top jewellers in the town! You can see plenty of quality here and the choice is huge, the staff are friendly and happy to help! I would recommend if you wanted quality at a budget price

The only gun shop i know of in exeter, its in the high st in heavitree, looks a little appressive from the outside with iron grids all over the windows all day and night. They do lots of fishing gear here too but mainly known as the place to get your gun sports equipment!! A pretty weird shop to be honest and quite appressive when you go in, they do know there stuff mind!!

right next door to the lloyds bank in the middle of heavitree! It is a typical somerfield in that it attracts a certain client and does have some pretty good deals most of the time! right in the middle of a huge housing estate, ideal for the locals!! The pub is huge with the brewers fayre feel about it, it has a huge menu and does do very well with its food etc! the bar is huge too so you`ll never got thursty! A lovely pub if you happen to live around here but not one you`ll find yourself just popping in as its quite out of the way!

a great little stadium which has housed some great QPR matches over the years, not huge by any means and ageing but with the new owner on board they will surely be destined for the premiership, its not in the best location as parking is really bad but the amosphere can be red hot with the fans so close to the pitch, my last visit here was over 15 yrs ago with the spurs, we won 2-0 but the hoops were noisey!!

pretty good
this is a pretty good leisure centre with some good alterations, they have also managed to get the tarka tennis centre just a few hundred yards away which increases the options for you! The centre has a good gym and a pretty good swiming pool! Not too bad for this growing town!

if you want a tipple why not support your local alcohol shop!! Its pretty small but has most of the lovely stuff we all like. They do suffer from the supermarket in tiverton but they know we all forget stuff now and again! they do some great 3 for 2`s here too!

a lovely little shop which sells alot of very unusual clothging which can be for both male and female plus some kiddies stuff too! they really cater for quality not quantity so you can get yourself some good quality stuff here without seeing all and sundry walking past you with the same item on!

a little tiny bookies which has been here for years, there has been a new coral bookies now open in the high st so i hope this one carries on going! i always go in here to put a bet on the horses on the national, they are a little outfit and it does get busy, but thats ok because the atmosphere is very nice

a lovely little bakery which sits in the middle of a garage and an estate agents! they dont produce their own bread here but i know have deliveries every day! they also have a few little tables inside which is great if youd like to enjoy some of the fab cakes they sell!

the only lauderette in the town and its tucked away inbetween two estate agents! Its always very busy and i did have cause to use it once many years ago! Its very well kept and checked by the management very regularly.! The prices arnt too bad with the machines taking the £1 coin. there is also a tv in the shop now to avoid you going mad!

the best florist in the town and is now a member of the interflora group! they are run by shirley and her two sons. They deliver at the drop of a hat and the flowers she sells are of first class standard! they helped me out many times and always delivered well on time and costs are very competative

this little new look is very popular with my partner and daughter, its pretty small but you can bet they will have most of the things you need and it doesnt get too busy like the new one in exeter! the staff are all very young and many are still at school which can be a pain when you need some help!!

like the other peacock stores you can go to, this one really does cater for some great value clothes for your kids and some rogh clothing for gardeing etc!! the store is pretty small and does tend to get pretty messy on a saturday where people just take clothes off the hangers and drop them when they have finished with them!

the only motorbike dealership in the town and its tucked away from the high st! they are the official yamaha dealer but i have to say they seem to survive via the greats election of used bikes they have here! they will also service any make of bike plus the two guys who run the garage are real bikers and there isnt anything they dont know about bikes!!

with the introduction of the Vue screens, the odeon is really struggling undersatndably. They do have 5 screens here but the seating is pretty old and uncomfortable compared to the seats you get at the vue! Also the cost is sometimes more than the competator so im surprised they still get visitors! they do have some good second screen films but i have to admit why would you want to come here rather than the Vue?

situated right next door to the health centre, if you get a prescription then its straight next door to get your medicine!! they also have some great deals on things like suntan lotion and sun glasses! they are very friendly and they stay open all hours to accomodate the centre!!

one of the only places where you can get your tyres checked for free plus have your exhaust and tyres changed! Its just up the road from the ford dealer so gets some business from them when they get mot work!! Its also open some great hours, most of the day on saturday and early sunday morning!

they have a very large forecourt that still serves you with fuel even though its pretty expensive, my daughter loves the shop as it does sell some very cheap sweets too! the service dept is excellent as it stays open all hours and the mecahnice are very good with most makes of cars!!

this is the ideal shop for the runner in you, if you need the shoes, shorts, vest or anything else that might help you do that marathon then you must visit this shop, its just at the bottom of north st under the iron bridge! Very keen and very knowledgable staff, good opening hrs, both on sat and sunday!

sorry, not for me anymore
I was always a next purchaser but im afraid i have to admit that since the opening of this new huge store in princesshay i have shopped there alot less! the shop is lovely but they have got very samey now, there seems to be alot less choice evn though the stock is a huge amount! They will still insist on having very young assistants who really dont bother about helping, im very much a designer at debenhams man now for all the reasons i mentioned negatively above!!

Its excellent for the latest in jeans and the prices are very good, bearing in mind the market they are looking to attract! its good they are here as the harlequins has suffered since the opening of the new princess hay shopping centre!

As Jim has said, they have been here a long time but they refine their market to the college kids etc! they do mainly jeans, t`s, hoodys and lots of scary stuff for the girlies! the chnging rooms are useless, you do find lots of people changing in the shop as there is only 1 room for each sex!

i love gap, or at least i used too, they were always the shop i used to buy for the kids as they have quality clothes for superb value, something happened a little while ago, they got boring and the designer dept of both dingles and debenhams has really up`d their game and i dont go to gap anymore!!

a bakery and a little cafe wher you can have that little break of the shopping trip! They do bake on site and the service isnt too bad! They do have somewhere to sit and eat but have a restricted space for your visit! the prices are pretty good but can creep up if there are a few of you
