great value 
A lovely golf club in the summer but one hell of a difficult course to play in the winter! Its got some lovely views, the course isnt the longest course but very difficult greens. The clubhouse is very welcoming and cosy, they will allow and welcome you to play with green fees, they are £15 at the moment which is great value for the day!

Great pool
This is a lovely indoor swimming pool which is a stones throw away from the sea itself! They do run clubs and hold regular lessons both for little ones and adults. I have had some very good lessons here, i had lessons in exeter and they wern`t as good as these! The facility is over 20 yrs old now but they really look after it here, its in beautiful condition and my favourite pool to take the kids too!

Unique
the small town gift shop that just keeps my attention for hrs. A beautiful little shop with glass, pictures & many locally produced ideas! We bought my parents a lovely wooden carved couples model for their 40th wedding anniversary. its unique and im sure it wouldnt be found anywhere else! I wish there were more of these shops still around!!

Old but great!!
this is right opposite the cinema and a real old fashioned pub! Its a drinkers pub, no food but very welcoming! Nik and i have visited many times when out for a walk, they even welcomed our dog and provided a water bowl for him!! Love these old style pubs!!!

Very polite
My parents were recently looking to purchase a bungalow in sidmouth, they visited me on a sunday so thought we`d have a look in sidmouth for some ideas! I was amazed to see them open on a sunday in a sleepy town, very very good service and kept my parents informed of details upto 6 mths after original visit!!

still going(so far) 
used to be a ford satellite dealer here in sidmouth but has now become a specialist! Its still owned by the original owner who`s getting close to retirement age plus ive just found out they maybe selling the site for property development! The garage still services your car and the service rates are nearly half the cost of the main dealers in the city! Its lovely to still see these dealers surviving

Brilliant
I love this cinema as it reminds me of the one we used to go to when we were kids!! Its got only one screen, we watched the golden compass here and all watched the film for the price of two of us in exeter! They have the little lady who serves the ice creams at the interval and the archetecture in the showing area is beautiful! They also show panto`s here which we`ve seen many of!!

sorry!! 
im really not impressed with this sports shop at all, not only do they close on a wed afternoon, they stock very little! My guess is that the owner loves rugby, hockey and tennis! There are no football shirts at all in stock and they hold very few training shoes! My son was most put out, i did try to give this small shop some business but they sometimes dont help themselves!!

cool!!!!!
although its not animal or fat face this shop is ok!! nicely presented and all the clothes look really good staff are really friendly and dont "jump" on you the minute you walk in the shop. really liked this shop-definately worth al shot if you are in the area.

we always used to visit sidmouth on a sunday with the kiddies yrs ago, after a long walk along the beach etc woolies came in great use on a sunday here in sidmouth for that little bit of sugar intake for dad while the kids could look at videos!! a lovely little shop much like they all used to be a long time ago
