clean up 
much like the above profiles this place is pretty messy and really doesnt know what it is to be honest! Its got the post office which is good bit its trying to be a supermarket. It could do with a good clean up and the staff could look a little more interested!!

Great service 
this is a family run company who really show the nationals how to behave! They supply lots of the white goods you can buy plus all servicing. They will react very quickly to an emergency and the costs of the fridges/washing machines are really competative compared to currys and comet!

poor 
the above are really interesting as ive experienced both sides of the spectrum in here. I have to be honest and say that i have used the costcutter more because of the post office. The staff here are not great as they really dont seem to care!! I would only use this place evry so often!

Good when full
the better of the two pubs in the village, has the darst and poole teams and the atmosphere can be great when full of locals! the pub also has some nice bar snacks and the drinks are really well priced compared to the expensive town pubs in barnstaple. A great atmosphere!

Very much the poor relation in this little village, the pub serves up a good pint but it really could do with a pep up and clean! The service is really nice but can lack numbers in the week as most people tend to go into barnstaple!

Review of Bike Trail Cycle Hire

Good condition bikes
the tarka trail is lovely and flat and takes the trail the old railway track has left behind! There are a few places to hire a bike from along the route but this one is the best and most convenient, esp if you start your journey from here! I would def recommend you hire a bike and sea the whole trail if poss!!
