second too pat williams in the town, they have most of the parts you need for your car, they will supply most of the traders in norht devon plus they have a counter for the public to buy from! The prices are much better than going to the local halfords to be honest!!

the local yamaha dealership and now the local kawasaki franchise! The dealkership is right opposite the VW car dealership and has a great fron to it!! they have the ability to service and they also will pick up your bike off the road if you break down!

Expensive for me 
This business has now moved to the other side of the town, they took over the old peugeot site and rent from there. I have to say they were expensive and not helpful when we wanted to hire the 7 seater for wembley! They have some great cars to hire but they are expensive and not always the one you want!!

Galaxy 7 seater
Now called Thrifty car hire, very good for cars, minibuses and MPV`s. We went down here last week to hire a galaxy 7 seater so we could go to wembley, the rates were great and they got us a vehicle in for the trip. Really good staff and very efficaint. I would definately recommend.

great staff
Not good access to be honest but if you want the real proper quality serve gear then this is the place to go too. The staff are all surfy but they dont talk down to you. Its a very surfy area here and if you feel you`d like a go and need the clothing then you cant go wrong in here.

Not worth it
I dont see the point in the every day person wanting to go here as the deals are just not here anymore. Its ideal for the small business client because you can buy in bulk and thats where the saving happens! Its easy to get too but i think because i have to shop id rather have a reasonable experience while doing it!!

This is also bed kingdom where thay do compete with carpet right in the town. They will do all the measuring, fitting and advice and deliver anywhere in north devon. The quality isnt too bad but the showroom is done at a budget i would say!!

was opened to be the competitor to devonshire pine, oh dear, what a mistake that was guys!! They have a showroom that is cold, damp and full of tatt, to put it bluntly. The staff here are really not interested and the prices are really expensive when you see what they have to sell. Not good at all.

Good quality
This garage/motor dealership has been mitsubishi for a couple of years now and have just been voted the best performing against target in the country! The sales staff are brilliant and the choice of vehicles both new and used is very good. The workshop is at the back and very very busy! Worth a visit for anything car related!

As dave says,this one is tucked away on the pottington estate so its not anything like a sbusy as the main two! the deals are pretty good here too so a bargain can be had if you select the ones you want! Lack of hassle when food shopping, bring it on!!

Bus driver
the most professional driving school i think ive ever met! they can cater for the standard driver, the bike riders, the hgv driver and even a bus driver! They run over 8 cars now and have some very good insrtuctors! A very nice in house classroom for theory teaching so you get the whole package!

How Pink??
These guys are a pretty big recovery outfit at pottington in barnstaple. I have to say after visiting there office a few times for work they dont install a huge amount of confidence with the state of the workshop and the office! They come across like a company of Pikey`s. All there vehicles are sprayed pink but the guys who work there come across like they have two heads! Not impressed at all! Sorry!

not a huge choice
They have some lovely cars but suffer very badly from lack of display room. They have just recently taken over parts of the forcourt of the company on the opposite side of the road! The audi showroom is upstairs with VW all in the ground floor showroom. the used cars add upto about 25 so not the biggest choice

Just, this dealership is right next door to mitsubishi and owned by the same people. They have had alot of surfy stuff in the showroom and gave the impression that it had closed down. Its possible that honda may not stomach this but you can still get a honda here

so small
this has to be the smallest audi dealer ive seen. Its upstairs above the VW dealership, silver st motors. They have one salesman who never seems to be there plus the stock/display is very poor, its mixed up with all the vw`s. I think this maybe a satellite dealer to the one in taunton!

these guys know there electricals. I would so suggest you go here as apposed to those bandits at currys or comet! Delivery locally, advice and the prices often end up cheaper. Not just that, they really know there stuff and very very pleasant with it

i was hoping that by trying to use the locally owned business it would help me but oh no, not in this case! Turned up obviously on a bad day for the employees, no-one wanted to talk to me plus the stock looked like it had been chucked into the showroom

these guys have anything youd ever wish for as far as spare parts for your car. Also any service and mot for your car from a site very close to the centre of barnstaple. Dave, who owns the business has been there for years and thrives on great service

what i think youd expect to find from a little area like north devon! Now they have taken on mitsubishi there seems to be alot more structure and choice from there used car site! Its great to see the entrance to pottington bright with there site now

had a great time last xmas with ingrid and the guys at the bowling alley, its a very local attraction and makes you all feel very welcome. The game of bowling is so cool for anyone and this alley is one of the best!
