At work 
I really love this place, its fantastic that they are able to kkep the bee`s here and produce the honey they do! I have to admit though the honeyt in the shop isnt all produced here and the trip around the bees doesnt take very long but it is great to visit with the kiddies, they loved to see the honey bees at work!!

Assumptive
The biggest tyre supplier in the area, they have branches in most town of north devon and they do tend to be very competative. The customer service part of the company could be better as they know they have a captive audience they seem to assume you`ll use them!!

the smaller of the two tyre companys in south molton, on the pathfields estate, they really do compete with the biggest compamys in barnstaple. They do tyre checks for nothing and will always call out to you if you have an issue with a tyre!

organic foods for the allergic amongst us and the glutin free foods they have are pretty good to be honest! the products are very interesting and you can actually get some nice tasting stuff you wont find in the high st! The cafe here is also very nice with service to die for!

leonard cheshire is a fantastic charity and im thrilled that they have managed to get there hands on such a great premesis to sell there products! the plastic bags that go around the houses here are mainly for this shop so make sure you keep giving, you can get such great stuff here if you prepared to look!

very well equiped and great for the sports gear your little ones will need for their school sports activities! the PE kits that are needed now are massive and the choioce you can get here is very comprehansive and priced very very fairly!!

not impressed 
prom dresses plus the wedding dress of your dreams, i have to say though there is a better wedding shop in barnstaple called the wedding collection. Sugar and spice is lovely but the lady here isnt upto speed for me! the dresses are nice but very samey, the prom dresses for me also are too expensive for that one night at college!

have a cake
knocks the spots off the national cakes sellers, the pies and sausage rolls here are made locally and god the sausage rolls are just gorgeous! i stop when im doing business here and eat a roll in my car but got it gets messy! the prices are too cheap, it only encourages me to buy lots more! Lovely stuff, you must have a look

a very local gallery that does give the local artists a chance, my mother paints and has had a couple of her pictures hung here! The reputation is one of pricey but fantastic workmanship! I love to look but cant get anywhere near the cost to buy one!

there must be a huge amount of locals that love the foods that this little shop sells, its not for me though, its tucked away off the beaten track and i have to be honest, very close to going out of business as they never seem to have any customers in there when im in town!

great craft to have
the arcade is a lovely part of the town, its right by the main car park and tarka crafts is so very unusual! the lady who owns the shop holds workshops for kiddies who want to learn how to make greetings cards from scratch, the little beeds, etc that can be used are beautiful, its a very independant arty shop that really need a visit"

used to be a little chef, was closed for quite a while for the new owners to tkae over, on the link raod its handy for the grockles but it really is tucked away from the road to be honest! the carvery at the moment is ok but i have to say it doesnt look appetising from the outside!

im so gutted this little place hasnt survived the test of time, so many pubs these days cant compete with the witherspoons of the day and its such a shame! the steak they used to do was just so lush and the price was outrageous for what you got! Such a shame its gone!

this guy has history on his side and can cater for all tastes! Been in the industry for ages and can really hold a crowd! Very competative and very heavily booked up in south molton and the surrounding areas plus most for barnstaple, great eve had by all!!

def the best in south molton and i have to be the first to admit that i have stopped off on my way home for some of the chips here before i get home, naughty but just has to be done! the chips are very chunky here and so much better than anything you`ll get from macy dees!!

every time i was in south molton i always paid a visit to number 72, the cakes are to die for and the service was second to none! the above reviewer is right and there is a for sale sign outside but they are at least still trading! Lovely though, just hope the new owner doesnt ruine the reputation

a fantastic little wine bar which i have been in twice now, the only issue i have is the prices are very steep and it lacks a little atmosphere! South molton is a very strange place to try and succeed with this type of theme but it has been here a little over a year now so good luck to them!!

the only petrol station to service the little town for quite a distance, but unfortunately with tesco and sainsbury only 9 miles away they drove this station out of business, the fabric shop that has replaced it i hope is doing ok!

one man band
as long as your car is over 3 yrs old and you can get to south molton then this man can work miracles on your motor! He will put himself out to help no matter whether your a new client or not! Its only really a one man band so he will service your car, take your money, deliver the car back to you etc etc! A wonderful company to see surviving these days!!

Use and love local!!
As suse has said, if your looking for pine furniture then you must try these guys before you waste your hard earned on the national chains that sell ylou flat packed rubbish! the furniture is made on site and they will deliver all over devon often for no delivery cost! the guys here are really helpful and dont push you at all to make a decision!!

This is a very quant little cake/tea shop in the middle of the town and has been having a good reputation for yrs! the only thing is that the owners are relying too much on that and priceing themselves out of the market! We had a tea, a cake which i have to admit was lovely, we did get a pot which gave us two cups each. The price was i thought expensive, £15. It has to get better to move on from here

after hearing this company on the local radio station i decided to go to there furniture shop near tesco! Very disappointed with the shop, its appearance, the stock was very poor, the shop was dirty and the staff was pretty appauling!!
