One of the south hams independant estate agents which survive on the reputation they have gained over the fifty years they have been trading here and in totnes! the houses they profess in are the more mature and expensive houses which are very popular with the tourists moving down to the area!

with offices all over the south west bradleys are for more of the middle of the range houses, the office is pretty big and this branch is very airy with plenty of houses to rent and buy of the cheaper range! The staff are very friendly and the office will open on sundays through the summer months!

with offices all over the south west, stags have a very good reputation for quality high price houses and also have some great staff, in kingsbridge there are some very expensive properties that stags are all over! The office is very neat and tidy plus the stock is of very high quality!!

Very personal
Peter and his staff are very very experienced and are very good at finding you a rented house/bungalow in the area! They have a small office but very persoanl service is where peter tends to beat the rest! Peter is close to retirement but has two very professional staff to take over when he does!

The local little ford dealer, they have both a showroom and a great service dpet. They have a very loyal customer base and have still got the franchise because of this base! they will pick up your car for a service and re deliver it back to you, all in all what a car dealer should be.

A very useful place to know about if you are a sporstperson and get injuries now and again! they really do get to the root of the problem, they did with my neck and back injury and i can just about cope with squash now! You get qustioned at your first visit and then go through a treatment process afetr the assesmant! Very good for me!!

This is a wonderful fashion and practical shop for the great outdoors! The shop is very well stocked and the website changes every day! They do stock alot of northface gear plus some very trendy trousers that could well be used for casula use!! Very good shop for the quality stuff

Holiday cottage for hire
this organisation is the place to call if youd like to rent a cottage in the south hams area throughout the year! They have a huge pocket of peoples houses and bungalows available to rent through the holiday period! They also provide the opp` to rent cottages etc in the carrabean islands. Very much worth the visit to their shop in the town or the very good website!

A very classy jewellery shop right in the middle of kingsbridge. The husband and wife partnership that run this store also have one in plymouth too! they do all alterations in store and the quality of the stock is first class. Very airy shop with two very kind and knowledgable staff every day!

The nightclub for the town,its open from thurs through until sun eve, with hrs upto 2.30pm on the weekends! The dancefloor is pretty small but very intimate. Its easy to get to and generally gets the overspill from the pubs and then let the music kick in! the music can vary depending on the eve you go!

this sports centre is pretty small but it does have all the normal facilities youd expect from a little town! they do have outside tennis courts which can be floodlit for either tennis or 5aside footie! the indoor courts can be used for gymnastics and the winter 5 aside footie league! Is a memeber centre but at a nominal cost

In the main st running through the village, this place is very affordable and has a very interesting menu most days! They do open during the day for the company meal if you need it, they do need you to book as the eve does get pretty booked up! The prices are very competative and the waiting staff are very nice

in the middle of the shopping centre this craft centre is so very local, they have glass blowing going on at the rear of the shop and the glass beading etc are all made in the village! the gifts are also very well wrapped and presented to you so you can give as a gift straight away!!

this guy sorted me right out when for no reason i couldnt get into my house, the lock had double locked itself and we couldnt open the door from either the outside or inside! the callout charge was ok but dear but when he arrived he really was very helpful and got the lock sorted in no time!

One of two florists in this small town and much the best one, in my experience they will deliver on time and they took my credit card details over the phone which the other one wouldnt do! the flowers looked fab and very fresh! Lovely little shop too, so quant!

again as the name suggests, you can get your roll stuffed full of salad or a longer bap for lunch with the filling of your choice! The ladies here will fill your bap infront of you while you wait so you couldnt ask for any fresher! Lovely place for your lunch

like the name suggests, there are so many bags on offer from this shop, in the main shopping st of the twon they can provide you with a small hand bag upto a new suitcase! the ladies here seem so keen to please and the atmosphere here is lovely! the suitcase i bought was cheaper than in debenghams

In the little shopping centre in the town, the sporst cabin is very small but can provide youn with some basic sports goods, you can buy football shirts here but they dont have much choice! the prces seem to be a little dear but im not surprised bearing in mind the small town scenario

Very much the one man band taxi company, davis the owner takes the calls and drives out to see you. He has picked me up twice now and been dead on time plus the charge was very very fare! The cars could be alittle better but he has very little competijtion!
