post office 
This store is right at the bottom of the hill and now has the village post office in it. Its got lots of free parking and is right at the entrance to the new build estate! Lots of choice here and gets very busy throughout the year esp at the post office part!

sunday roast
Right in the middle of the village, this is a pretty big pub with a nice big garden at the back! Very well known for its lovely food, very popular on a sunday for its sunday roast! Ive been going here for yrs and i know its very popular with the locals throughout the year!

Review of Clock House Hotel

very quaint
This hotel is at the bottom of chideock hill and nearly got completely demolished a few yrs ago by a run away lorry! It smashed into the squash courts next door! The hotel is very qaint and has a wonderful bar. the food can be posh depending on the time of day your in there!!

Very clever 
In the little village of chideock two miles out of bridport, they will strip any type of timber for you, they will make furniture for you out of reclaimed timber and if you have any antiques in timber they will restore it for you brilliantly! If you like the old fashioned wood windows than the platic ones then they can make wooden windows too, to measure!! I wonderful find in my mind!!

dorset coast
this is fortunate to have the highest point in dorset in its view! Golden cap is beautiful and the cost path takes you right along the coast to portland bill. The park is very swish and has over 80 permanant caravans!
