The local office for the local regional tv company. The office is pretty small but the news guys here are very helpful. They will encourage the public to visit and the studios are quite cool to have a look at! The office isnt open every day of the week but if you call then book in a visit then they will be happy to see people.

A real favourite of my partner and daughters. they have all that is trendy here and all the accessories you could ever imagine. The shop is pretty messy mind as there are ladies who feel it worth trying stuff on in the shop rather than queeing for the changing rooms.

small car park
A very clever place to put this supermarket as it is surrounded by the main housing estate in southill, so many heads live here and support the local market! They dont seem to have so many deals as you`ll get at asda and the like but its local and very near to home for these people. the car park is a little small though

easy to get too 
I really like this iceland as its right in the middle of the twon and very easy to get too. The prices here seem to get cheaper evry time i come here. Much of the frozen stuff you can get here is so much dearer in the other supermarkets! The drinks also seem to be great value so if we need drink now its iceland we go too.

look out tesco
A really great Asda as its just on the edge of weymouth and the parking is brilliant. The spaces are bigger than average and the store is very well kept, tidy wise! The clothing hits you as you walk in which is clever as they have all the lost leaders right as you walk in! the choice here is very good too so look out Tesco

The local cheap shop for shoes and its huge! they will sell you the novelty slippers and all the trendy fury boots that are in fashion at the moment! It does tend to smell of plastic when you walk in here as they dont really deal in leather here. My daughter did love her simpson slippers from here though

Like most clarks shoe shops, this one will offer you to have your feet measured and provide you with some very high quality shoes made locally. The shop is right in the middle of the high st and has some lovely shoes on display. The ladies who work here are all mainly older and really know their stuff

The biggest and the main amusement arcade in weymouth. You can bet quite a huge amount of money here too as they hold poker games etc in a big room at the back for certain people and at certain times of the week. Gets completely packed in the summer so good if you dont want to lose too much money

This one is right at the end of the main road running alongside the beach, built in amongst the lawns/trees and tends to get very involved in the fair when it comes down throughout the summer hol`s. The 2p coin machines are fab and the sonic the hedgehog games here are just the best!! watch what you spend though!! hehe

A great pitch and put course really built for the holkiday makers when they come down. Very much a family fun packed place to visit, the holes are very short but pretty hard to get right! Only £4 for a round and ofcourse they will provide you with all the equipment you will need

A great saling club which does encourage non memebers to come and have a go. Now that the olympics are going to be held here, the rowing and sailing facilities here are first class and the weather here can be great for superb sailing. Membership is tight but if you get your name down then you should be ok this summer

Rock nottom
The real one stop shop! Weymouth has become a pretty good shopping destination not just a seaside! The store has the supermarket feel about it with all the gardening needs accommodated and the prices are fantastic value! Really useful for the christmas shopping as the quality is still there with rock bottom prices!

the top shop chain is where i wish i could be but my age doesnt allow (43). This store is pretty close to the beach and really caters for huge summer sales. I have to say the jeans here are great and fit perfectly and the staff seem to be pretty senior, i liked that

Tradition
this club is just about to survive in the conference but really should be up there with torquay and exeter. The wessex stadium is looking a little tired now as they moved from the centre of weymouth over 20 yrs ago now!! A great traditional club starting the careers of players like andy townsend and graham roberts

so much facility
A fantastic running track and most sports facilities here. Used to be called redlands and has a huge amount of room for schools to use the facilities! The only centre locally that has this much stuff sports wise to use

as a sports fan i do like this bar. The screens are brilliant for the footie etc and brings the atmosphere that that brings with it! As Harry says, they do have a loyalty points system which does enable you to get involved in most of the promotions!

Great value
yet another one of those old english type pub feels about it! Dusk is quite apt as this does tend to be the last place you will be before hitting the club if your fit to dance! Pretty cheap and the drinks really do flow in this one!!

much like the majority of the pubs in weymouth a few years ago, this pub does tend to come across as a little rough but once inside its got that real pub feel about it! as a liker of the traditional english pub dorothy is really in that section!

A very welcoming pub with everything going for it in time for the olympics in 20/12. Hence the name ofcourse! The scene in weymouth has become very upto date now and this place is leading the way!!

excellent choice and very handy for the two great suitcases we bought to take to australia! Plus i managed to stock a whole kitchen with cutlery and lates etc when i first moved to honiton! Reasonable quality at a pretty cool price

great for weymouth
this is a great visit if you have youngish kids! they breed seahorses here from all over the world plus a rescue centre for turtles that get swept up onto beaches all over the uk! A must for the school hols
