Review of Thai Metro

Thai Metro
A great Thai in a great location. If you ever need a cheap dinner in the West end this is the place to go for cheap food and friendly waiters. Serves the standard Thai dishes but they are always delicious.

Review of The Worlds End

The Worlds End,
A famous rock pub opposite Camden Town tube. Good live rock music. Large main bar and a sizeable side bar. The beer is ok. Worth a look if you like guitar music and the scene.

Review of HMV

HMV Angel
A medium sized HMV store. The usual selection of music games and films. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. A constant sale or multi-buy offers create a bargain atmosphere. My personal favourite music store and this one doesn't let the brand down.

Review of Imperial War Museum

Imperial War Museum
A great museum covering the wars of the 20th century. Free admission except for special exhibitions. Good information presented well for young and old. They have a cinema which shows films connected to the subject. Often rare or old, so if you're interested in cinema and 20 century conflict, keep an eye on the listings. It's easy to get to by public transport, so a great free, easy and interesting day out.

Review of Chelsea Potter

The Chelsea Potter
A fairly standard pub nothing amazing but not bad. Not over priced and a good range of beers and other drinks. Not eaten hear but the food looked fine from what was coming out to others. The Guinness is nice here if you like it try one if your in the area or waiting for the cinema opposite which is when I popped in.

Review of The Angelic

The Angelic
A good pub close to Angel tube but off the more rowdy Upper street strip of Walkabout etc. A good range of drinks and nice food. Well worth a visit and gets busy as early as the after work crowd. Arrive here early or book if you need one of the table or sofas, set over two floors. A great atmosphere most of the time , not too relaxed but not hectic. A small bar upstairs which can be busy as there is only room for one person and not ale up there so if that your tipple you'll have to go downstairs to the well staffed main bar. Usually good quick and accurate service. When we have had a large group booked onto a table the manager has check in with the person who booked with us that all was well, and was polite and friendly, great customer service!

Review of Elephant and Castle

Elephant & Castle
A good choice for a local, it's small and tucked away, and usually gets pretty busy - so if you arrive during peak lunchtime you might struggle to find a table, although there are chairs & tables outside. It's a chain menu but reasonably priced usually pretty good. Friendly landlord & staff, main downside are the Kensington locals (lack of manners at the bar, and also they complain when everyone stands outside in the summer!).

Review of The Corrib Rest

The Corrib Rest
A large Irish pub at the top of Salusbury Road. This is a great pub and has all the character of a true Irish pub. Expect to find old men propping up the bar watching Irish football, news channels and horse racing. A large menu served all day ranging from baguettes and potatoes, Thai curry and a great Irish stew served with soda bread. The best thing about lunch in this pub is that no matter how big or small your party and diversity in food orders all meals always come out together!

Review of Hemingford Arms

Hemingford Arms
A local feel to this weird and wonderful pub. All manor of junk hanging from the ceiling and more flowers than brink showing out side. Incredibly challenging Pub quiz. Good brews and usual selection of wine and sprints.

Review of Sainsburys

Sainsbury's, Angel
A large supermarket suitable for the weekly/monthly shop. Gets very busy on the weekend and some evenings with the ‘pop in on the way home' crowds. The fruit and veg is always low stocked on Monday's, presumably not restocked from the weekend. Sometimes we also have trouble getting whole grain bread. Other than that generally well stocked with a good range of items. Some specialist and organic ranges but nothing out of the ordinary for a supermarket of this size.
