Review of The Worlds End

The Worlds End, 3*

A famous rock pub opposite Camden Town tube. Good live rock music. Large main bar and a sizeable side bar. The beer is ok. Worth a look if you like guitar music and the scene.

Review of Chelsea Potter

The Chelsea Potter 3*

A fairly standard pub nothing amazing but not bad. Not over priced and a good range of beers and other drinks. Not eaten hear but the food looked fine from what was coming out to others. The Guinness is nice here if you like it try one if your in the area or waiting for the cinema opposite which is when I popped in.

Review of Elephant and Castle

Elephant & Castle 3*

A good choice for a local, it's small and tucked away, and usually gets pretty busy - so if you arrive during peak lunchtime you might struggle to find a table, although there are chairs & tables outside. It's a chain menu but reasonably priced usually pretty good. Friendly landlord & staff, main downside are the Kensington locals (lack of manners at the bar, and also they complain when everyone stands outside in the summer!).

Review of The Corrib Rest

The Corrib Rest 4*

A large Irish pub at the top of Salusbury Road. This is a great pub and has all the character of a true Irish pub. Expect to find old men propping up the bar watching Irish football, news channels and horse racing. A large menu served all day ranging from baguettes and potatoes, Thai curry and a great Irish stew served with soda bread. The best thing about lunch in this pub is that no matter how big or small your party and diversity in food orders all meals always come out together!

Review of Hemingford Arms

Hemingford Arms 4*

A local feel to this weird and wonderful pub. All manor of junk hanging from the ceiling and more flowers than brink showing out side. Incredibly challenging Pub quiz. Good brews and usual selection of wine and sprints.

A lovely little pub off The Strand. Has a great atmosphere and jukebox. Quite small so gets very crowded but good if you get a table.

Review of The Bull

A large pub over two floors. A nice spiral staircase takes you up stairs to plenty of seats. A good selection of wine on offr by the bottle and glass. Good choice of beer too, a few nice continental fruit beers and largers. Airy in the summer as large windows open out onto upper street.

Review of Bear and Staff Pub

The Bear and Staff 3*

A good pub to meet before moving on to a show or cinema in the West end as it is very near the tube. The beer is not bad and a few choices of ales and bitters. Slightly small and smoky, but for one or two not bad. Not that touristy considering the area. Not sure I would want to spend all night here but overall not bad.

Review of The Assembly House

The Assembly House 3*

A good pre-gig pub if you're going to the Kentish Town Forum as its between the tube and the venue. Quite large to accommodate all those with the same idea. The larger wasn't great last time I was here but fine for a quick drink before moving on.
