Nice Meal 
I diasgree with the earlier review - i have been to tootsies a number of time now and have always had good service at good prices.
There is loads to chose from on the menu and there is even an Annabel Karmel menu for children - which is fantastic.
The staff have always been very friendly and attentive.
Don't be put off - give it a go

Meaty Feast
Its often hard to find good quality kosher meat at a reasonable price - so finding a deli that provides just this is great.
The service is great in there - its gets very very busy and the staff can be a little short with you but thats only because they are so rushed of there feet.
They do great rotisserie chickens and fresh cut meats at good prices.
You can call and place an order for pick up or pop i anytime - its open really late during the week which is great for those of us that work.

Review of Brent Cross Shopping Centre

I Love shopping
I am a massive fan of Brent Cross - its local (to me) easy to park and has a great selection of shops.
It does get slightly mad at weekends and i would go as far as to say it is mayhem - especially if you are trying to push a buggy round too.
The selection of shops is great and food court is good for an informal bite to eat.
With John Lewis at one end and Fenwicks at the other end and loads of slection in between you are bound to find what you are looking for.
All it is missing is a Primark!

Review of Carmelli Bagel Bakery

mmmmm
If you fancy a hot bagel on your way home from a club - Carmeli is your man!
This bakery serves everything from fresh Borekas to wedding cakes - its all fresh and smells amazing.
The service is a little brash - there certainly is no chit chat as they serve you and move you on to the cashier - but the cakes and biscuits more than make up for this.

very generous
Lat week i visited the this key cutters on my way home to see if they had any soft keys that i could buy for my son - long story but he loves to scratch key accross my wooden floor!
The man in there was very kind and gave me 5 brightly colored uncut keys for my son the play with - they still scatch my floor but not as badly -i should have gone to toys r us for soft keys!!
He just asked me to give a donation for charity - really very kind.

Private Tuition
My nanny attends the EFSE and her english and progressed so much since she has started going.
She is from the Czech Republic and had a good grasp of the english language when she came to work for us. In the last 3 months her vocab has increased greatly and she is a lot more confident.
It isn't chaep but the small numbers in each class is well worth the money.

Great Bargains
Tally Ho discount is a real find. there is a lot of rubbish in there but equally there is a lot of great 'stuff'.
Randomly - they sell cheap greetings cards to furniture and everything in between. It has to be a first stop in North Finchley for whatever you are loking for.

a stitch in time
What a find - i stumbled across this place that will personalise anything from baby gifts to adult bathrobes.
The shop is a bit of a mess with things everywhere but it really is a superb little place.
I bought a present for a friend that has just had a baby and had her name embroidered onto a little bath robe.
It was ready to pick up in 24hours or they would have posted to me for a small fee.

Review of The Venue

Great for Kids Parties
I had my sons first birthday at The Venue in February.
The staff were very helpful and the package they offered was great value for money.
We had 15 kids (1 year olds) and 30 adults. The adults seemed to have a better time than the children, throwing themsleves around the soft play area!
After 1 hour in the soft play they laid on food for all the children in the creche room.
From start to finish the staff bent over backwards to ensure the party ran smoothly.
I will definitly be booking for my sons 2nd brthday.

Fancy a wrap?
On a first look inside thsi cafe / restaurant seems out of place in North Finchley. It is different to the other offerings in the area - possible for looking slightly more upmarket than the average local eatery.
What's nice about this plce is that they make whatever you want to order from freshly made wraps to stone baked pizza.
During the week it is full of mothers that lunch or local school children.
You have to be lucky to get a seat during the week but at wekkends it isn't as busy and perfect for a light lunch.

Its Electric!
Garlands is quite possibly the best local Electrical shop i have ever come accross.
Not only will they price match, if they have the item in stock they will deliver the same day - now thats service for you!
From fridge freezers to childrens quad bikes - they have everything you can ask for.

mmmm i love pizza
I love Al Fresco in Whestone - its is a great local Italian with great food at good prices.
The decor is a bit dated, and the waiters do sometimes have a bit of an attitude - but thats probably more to do with their Italian persoanlities that rudeness.
They are very welcoming to familes and couples and seat people accordingly which is very throughful.

Review of Busy Bees Nursery

Home from Home
My child started at Busy Bees Nursery in the David Lloyd complex in November last year.
He was 9 months old at the time and i was nervous that he wouldn't settle in - but the staff were so helpful and put my mind at rest and ensured he was happy at all times.
They welcome him with open arms on a daily basis and he is always happy to go.
I would recommend this nursery to anyone who requires chikdcare in N12.

Looking for a midnight pharmacy?
So many times i have been caught out - needed to get a prescription and it has been out of hours.
Well, Boots inm Whetstone now open until midnight everyday and its fantastic - not just for prescriptions but whatever you fancy!
Only when i had a child did i find this helpful!

The best local Estate Agents
We bought our house through Jeremy Leaf in 2005 and were very pleased with the service we recieved. They were our first choice when we were thinking about selling our house at the end of last year and they have been fantastic.
If you want a personal touch, professionalism and helpfulness - Jeremy Leaf are the agents to go with. With so many in North Finchley its difficult to know who to go with.
