Review of Old Black Horse Inn

Exceptional! 
I've visited the Old Black Horse on numerous occasions and have always been overwhelmed by the top class food and great service. The food isn't cheap but because of the quality you don't mind forking out for it! The pub has a small carpark and is easy to find in the centre of Market Bosworth. Thoroughly reccomended!

Tipples & Tunes! 
Sumo has become one of the best gig venues in Leicester with signed and unsigned acts of all genres, electro to pop to metal bands, playing in their basement bar! With two other floors/bars, both stylishly decked out, and an outdoor terrace it's a great venue for drinking and catching live music, lovely in the summer when you can make the most of the outdoor area.

Best Cosmos in town
Fat Cats (as it's known to the locals!) has a fantastic cocktail menu, the bar is beautifully decorated, attracting a stylish crowd. There is a small terrace with outdoor heaters which is mostly used as a smoking area but is lovely to sit out on in the Summer, and if you're a fan of Cosmopolitans Fat Cats make the best in Leicester!

Very Helpful
I've only used this salon as an in between one when my hairdresser is on holiday as I saw a hair show they did and the models looked amazing! The stylists are all very helpful and they've helped me out at short notice before so come thoroughly reccomended.

Review of Twinlakes Fun Park

Fantastic Family Fun!
Twinlakes is a fab day out, especially for families with kids of primary school ages, say 5-12yrs.
There are loads of indoor and outdoor rides and play areas (and lucky for adults they can go on most of them too!), a farm yard with lots of different animals and during half term breaks and summer holidays extra activities like nature trails, facepainting, animal handling etc.

Farmyard Frolics!
I think this is one of the best farm parks in Leicestershire!
Most of the pens are open topped so if you're feeling brave you can give the animals a stroke! Brilliant in Spring when the baby lambs are first born! Great selection of animals, a small play area, and a lovely farm shop and cafe.

Review of Ferrers Centre

Great for Gifts!
The Ferrers Centre just outside Ashby is full of lovely quirky shops, selling jewellery, sculptures, art, ceramics, and other crafty type gifts! Not cheap though!
The model workshop is full of fantastic moving models, a must visit if you have kids! The tea room serve lovely cakes and the surrounding area of Staunton Harold is also lovely for walks.
Bear in mind though the shops at The Ferrers Centre are closed on Mondays!

Classy Curry!
In the centre of Anstey this is a cracking curry house! None of that tacky decor like some curry houses, the interior is clean and modern! And the curry's are delicious, plus they do free delivery for takeaway so everyone's a winner!

Disappointing... 
I had a bit of a dodgy experience at this restaurant despite it being highly reccomended by friends.
The food itself was great, however the meal out was ruined by the discovery of a small black slug in the side salad with my starter. The waitress apologised and offered to replace the starter but by then I'd eaten most of it so declined. The rest of the food was delicious but when the bill came and we weren't even offered anything to compensate getting a slug in the salad we asked the land lady if we could at least have that particular starter taken off the bill. She was rude and eventually agreed to do it but was unapologetic.
I'm sure it was a one off mistake which could have been dealt with easily with a good will gesture, of a small discount however her attitude to the problem means I'll never return to what I'm sure is normally a lovely restaurant.

Fabulous Flowers!
If you want beautiful flowers for any occasion from super friendly staff then Lily's is for you! The bouquets I've sent and received from Lily's have always looked divine and the service is second to none, thoroughly reccomended!
