Good food, nice decor 
I've only been here once and was in the mood for a good old fashioned Madras. The dish was fine, what I'd expect form a decent Indian restuarant, but I did think it was a little overpriced for a bog-standard dish. Nice selection of nibbles with the poppadums though! Service was fine but it was a quiet Sunday night

I wish my legs were longer....
Serves me right for smoking in my teens I suppose. Anyway, there's not many obvious places you can get your trousers taken up nowadays, especially as the chap in Swindon tented market disappeared with the closure. Michael's does a good job but is a bit hidden away in a maze of little units in a dreary business centre. Maybe the staff would be a little more cheery if they had some sunlight too!

A proper garden centre
Don't expect to find a selection of fine preserves, cook books, cushions or herbal skin creams here - just loads of stuff for gardening - plus a few bits of garden furniture and pet food thrown in. You can even buy loose seed and fertilizers at a fraction of the price of brand name packets. They'll help you load heavy bags in the car too. Plants can be a bit unloved. If your looking for good shrubs - go to Greenhill Nurseries just down the road

Cheer up fellas
Nice new modern decor, good food, draught Indian lagers, even a spotless loo. If the service was better and the staff more cheerful I'd give them 4 stars.

Turkish delight?
Just off the Pulteney Bridge, this is a takeaway one side and basic restaurant on the other. We've only had lunch but was good basic turkish food and great value. Staff were friendly and yes we did get a bit of Turkish Delight after our meal.

Spanish tapas bar
Part of a large chain. The restaurant is large with 2 floors, situated around near the back of Cav House. We dived in out of the rain one Saturday afternoon. We ordered olives off the menu but they'd run out. I felt like asking them to nip round the corner to M&S! We ordered the mixed tapas . At £19.95 for 2 people it was pretty good value. A selection of Spanish draught and bottles beers were on offer but we thought the wine list was disappointingly small.

Good if you're in a bit of a rush
Nice traditional decor, perfectly good food, much like any decent Thai. We have a set menu and don't go away hungry! They include puds on the set menu - proper puds not just toffee banana and lychees! It can get a little crowded and there are 2 sittings per night so you can feel a little rushed if you wanted to make a night out of it. I'm not aware of anywhere better in Ciren though.

Homely Spanish tapas bar
Very small inside so worth booking if you plan to visit in the evening. A friendly little restaurant for just a coffee and cake anytime or an evening meal. We kept ordering more tapas but never really felt full. Is that just me?! Has an authentic feel, so quite basic.

Very friendly Italian restaurant
Not in the most attractive location in Swindon but don't let that put you off. The food is good and the service was faultless. Big car park opposite.
