Chip shop fish and chips - in a pub 
They've got lots more on the menu, but since as my missus won't allow a deep fat fryer in our house, I like to grab the opportunity for good ole F&C when I can. They also serve mushy peas and curry sauce. And great real ale. It's also really nice inside with a garden at the back. Waht more can I say? Lovely batter?

Real pub grub
Great for a quiet night out with friends if you just want some simple pub food. Had a fantastic steak and ale pie and an even better treacle tart for pudding! Very friendly bar staff and waiters.

Nice pub by a lake
Consistently good quality food well presented. Ranges from rolls to restaurant food, reasonably priced. Decent sized menu but I always seem to go for fish n chips! The building is split into a modern downstairs 'sports' bar and upstairs is a traditional bar, a restaurant and a large terrace overlooking the lake. Lovely on a sunny afternoon or evening.
