Pot luck 
Have had varying experiences here!! The only reason I keep going back and giving it another go is because of the location - its right by the river, a lock to be precise.
There is a massive beer garden over looking the river, lots of seating - a great place to just chill out of an afternoon or in the evening sunshine.
The varying experience comes from the food - had great troubles over the bank holiday weekend, large que to order food then a long wait for it and the wrong food to what was described on the menu!
I have been and the foods been great and the service really good....the last few occasions however, not so good!!

What more could you want 
Great food & great service.
Friend and I went here the other day, admittedly it was early evening and not very busy, the waiters were very attentive and always on hand if needed.
Started with just poppadoms(you've got to try the red sauce that these come with these, best way to describe it is like spicy ketchup but nicer!) to follow I had chicken biryani and friend had the chicken korma with rice.
Both decent sized portions and wasnt expensive either - two main courses and couple of beers about twenty five pound. We left very satisfied
