Review of Handmade Burger Co.

Nice burgers, not so nice price 3*

Definitely one of the better burgers I've eaten, amazingly fast service (I may have been lucky), but very expensive for a burger and chips, worth a try if you like your burgers.

Review of All Bar One

Loads of beers! 3*

Has a great choice of imported beers, helps it stand out from all of the surrounding bars. Food is ok if you just want a snack to go with the beer. Gets really busy if the suns shining, and there can be a bit of a wait at the bar.

Review of Pitcher & Piano

Very average 2*

Well if you like deep fried anything, then you might like the food. The choice of beers isn't great, the best thing about it is the atmosphere. Evenings are better than the daytime, which tends to be understaffed - unless you're wearing a skirt and fluttering your eyelashes, then expect to wait a while to get served.

Review of Tin Tin Cantonese Restaurant

Definitely recommended... 5*

One of the best cantonese restaurants in brum - I'm making myself hungry just thinking about it! Not the cheapest out there, but you don't mind paying a bit more when you've enjoyed the food so much - if you work in Brindley Place and have a Brindley Place card you'll get a discount on certain days (can't remember when though).

Review of Restaurant Bar A Jee

Balti with a view... 4*

One of the better Indian restaurants in the city centre, and definitely the one with the best views - ask to sit canal side if you can. The food is up to a high standard, and they don't try to blow your head off with the strength of their curries.

Review of The Old Joint Stock

Great Pies! 4*

If you love real ale, and can't resist a good old fashioned pie, then this place is a must. Set in an old bank, it's worth a visit just to admire the building. It's not all about pies though, the fish and chips was great too (no I didn't have both on the same visit).

Review of San Carlo

29 Apr 08, 15:17

One of the best... 4*

...Italian restaurants I've been to outside of Italy (and I've been to many). Not cheap, but then the place was full last time I went with people queuing up to eat so they have obviously aren't over charging either.
