Lovely soft furnishings
This is a bit set back from the road and behind the main big boy retailers of the Capitol Centre but make the effort to go as there is a whole world of tremendous soft furnishings here at cheaper than high street prices.
You can get everything you want for the kitchen, bathroom and whole house here for good prices, there is a great selection as well

Review of Bridge Inn

Not the best
In theory this is a nice pub overlooking the river...that's about the only good thing.
Inside the Bridge Inn is quite dated and I felt a bit of an outsider when I walked in, the locals all stare at you as if you have something growing on your face.
I stayed to watch a football match but felt like i didn't want to be there all the time so I made the decision not to go back.

Good food, not bad for sport
This is a decent pub between Preston and Walton le Dale. There is ample parking for the designated drivers amongst you. The food is good and cheap, there are screens to watch sport on, they have regular quiz nights and entertainment and there is a separate restaurant and bar area. It is in a good position too, if you need somewhere for a quick bite to eat before escaping Preston, it's not far from the Motorways

Surprisingly Good
This place is really in the middle of nowhere. It's on the way out of Preston which isn't always a bad thing...it's actually really good.
The food is tasty and it's not that expensive. The building is impressive and smart looking outside and inside, quite modern if you like that kind of thing. Definitely worth making that extra journey to visit.
