Different 
There are some who will love this place and some who find it a bit pretentious, sadly I fall into the latter. Anywhere that has some guy Dj'ing on the landing isn't really for me. The clothes are good, I don't doubt that but I can't stand the over priced clothes that aren't really worth spending your life savings on. Also the mens section is 2 flights of stairs up, why do the men always have to walk up the stairs, and why is there only 1 floor for the men but 2 for the women?!

Review of Nuke Fashion Shops

Out of place but thank god 
This shop is far too cool to be in the middle of Altrincham. Around it there are no other really good shops for the young fashion conscious punter. Nuke came along a few years ago and instantly brightened up the options in Altrincham.
The clothes are good but not overpriced, the shoes and accessory selection is decent as well and the staff are always willing to help out and order anything you can't find.

Review of River Island Clothing Co

Consistently good 
This branch of River Island is one of the better ones I have been into. There is a good selection for men and women, the store is bright and has really good air conditioning so when you walk in from Churchill Square you are happy to browse without feeling hot and sweaty.
The staff are friendly and always happy to help as well
