Convenient but crappy 
It's great that you can get whatever you want at any time of the day but I made the mistake of coming here sober.
I tried the fish and chips where the chips were pathetically puny, the fish was greasy and the small coke was REALLY small.
Good after a few drinks but if you're sober then go somewhere else.

Review of Costas Fish & Chip Shop

Good chippy 
I used to pass Costas every day on the bus home from school...when i was old enough to buy my own food it was one of the first chippy's I went to!!
It's a classic chippy, the food is good, it's cheap and clean. You can't go wrong with Costa's

Review of Chip Basket

A good chippy 
I've never eaten inside the Chip Basket but every time I have had a takeaway it has been very nice. If you do want to eat in then it always looks very clean and doesn't have lots of drunk idiots hanging around.
The food is good, sometimes the fish batter can be a bit soggy by the time you get it home, the chips are nice and the portions are decent. The pickled eggs are better than some I have tried if you're feeling adventurous.
Prices aren't bad as well, certainly didn't let me down when i was looking for somewhere to eat in a hurry
