Review of Hale Lawn Tennis Club

Beautiful Club
This club has undergone extensive refurbishment and development over the last 10 years and is now a beautiful little tennis club where the emphasis is on community. There are classes and programmes for children, tournaments for all ages and several functions throughout the year.
It's not cheap to join and they are quite militant about wearing the right stuff but it all contributes to a great little club

Review of Hale Conservative Club

Function Room
I had never been into a Conservative Club before I came here and I haven't been back to one since so I don't really know if this is good or not but it was perfect for what we needed. I was on the organisation committee for a youth disco and we needed a cheap venue, this fitted the bill and the management were very easy to deal with.

Review of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club

Can't wait for the new stadium
I'm not a Brighton fan but as I live in the city I thought it was only right that I sample the atmosphere and watch a bit of lower league football.
The quality of the match isn't what I will review thankfully but it's fun at the Albion. If it's winter and you're in the open stands then it's not so much fun but that will all change when the new stadium is built. For now it's basic, there are burger vans and enough catering for everyone and it's not too expensive so give it a go, even if it's just for a laugh at the match itself

Review of Sussex County Cricket Club

Great fun and a lovely ground
I moved to Brighton having only been to 1 live cricket match....that soon changed. The County ground isn't the biggest but it is a perfectly quaint little place and a great venue for wishing away a few hours watching cricket.
If the sun is shining then there is no better place to be. Sit there with a pint in your hand and watch the cricket, if you don't know anything about it then just pretend. The facilities are good although the bars can get very busy when the ground is full. It can also get a bit cold when the sun moves round, the tip is to move round with it!!
One bit of advice...never have the pork roll from the catering van, repulsive stuff...the only bad point of an otherwise brilliant ground.
