typical shop!! 
this is right in the middle of victoria street and quite a busy shop. the staff are ok but not overly friendly and not too knowledgable!! its not a huge shop so can get quite busy-especially just as you walk in as that is where all the magazines etc are!! not a great place to put them!!!!

cheap and good stuff!!!!!
this is quite a little store but always clean and presentable apart from when they have a sale and then it's free for all!!! the clothes are of a good standard and they have some really good cheap "work" shoes too!!! no where as big as the torquay store but i actually prefer this one!!

not great!! 
years ago this was called the pickwick and was my local it was great!!! Not now!!! food is cheap and chearful and can be cold!! quite a lot of seating inside but again there are always alot of people outside smoking and that you have to go through first!! be aware at weekends as there are quite a few "unsavory" characters that frequent this pub.

cheap booze and grub!!!
as with all wetherspoons this has great food and good service. not huge inside but plenty of seats as long as you get in early in going on a weekend.staff are friendly always on hand-toilets are clean and always smell really nice!! the only down side and i think it is like this with most places now it that you have have walk through a wall of smokers outside to get in!!

a little taste of italy 
this is a lovely little restaurant just on the way out of paignotn heading towards to torquay.staff are lovely and the place is attractively furnished inside!! toilets are spotless. typical menu ie pizzas pasta garlic bread-portions are quite large and the desserts are great.

great food
this is a cheap and cheerful cafe opposite the railway station. the food is typical cafe and good home cooked pasta bakes omelettes etc. their baguettes are really big and packed full of whatever filling you have!! The coffee's etc are lovely especially the hot chocolate.the only down side was that the food took nearly an hour!!!

brilliant!!
this place is huge!! it is on the site of the old theatre where i spent many years dancing in various shows!! The staff are ok not great at smiling!! the cinemas themselves are always clean and tidy as are the toilets.the only place that sometimes looks a mess is the place where you get the pick and mix!!! What a nighmare!!

this is where i grew up so i love paignton. the seafront is great-good bars great cinema and a brand new crazy golf curse right on the serfront next to the cinema which looks awesome!! Also lovely walks especially the one you can do from preston beach right across to goodrington.

EXCELLENT SERVICE
I HAD MY CARS AND MY PQRENTS CARS SERVICED HERE FOR MANY YEARS-THE STAFF ARE OVERLY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL-AND THEY WILL EVEN DROP YOUR CAR HOME!! THE PRICES ARE NOT EXTORTIONATE AND FOR THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDE QUITE FRANKLY THEY UNDER PRICE!!!

NOT GREAT FOOD
THE INDOOR PLAY AREA IS GREAT THE CRAZY "PIRATE GOLF" IS BRILLIANT AND THE CINEMA IS OBVIOULSY COOL!!! tHE FOOD ON THE OTHER HAND IS NOT GREAT!! LUKE WARM ALWAYS LATE AND NOT GREAT PORTIONS!! LARGE SETAING AREA INSIDE BUT CAN BE RATHER NOISEY IF CHILDRENS HOLIDAYS!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

i remember when????
I CAN REMEMBER WHEN I WAS LITTLE AND GOING ON THE PIER WAS A TREAT!! NOW THERE ARE BOUNCY CASTLES AND TRAMPOLINES AT THE END OF IT!! BINGO HI TEC VIDEO GAMES AND THE USUAL PENNY AND TWOPENNY GAMES!!CANDY FLOSS ETC!! FAR TOO BUSY FOR MY LIKING!!

this a great coffee shop
they have a great range of coffees and teas as well as a great seating area considering it is in the heart of paignton. great sandwiches and rolls although i have to say that their jacket potatoes are some of the best i have ever tasted-far to much filling!! tiolets are clean and very fresh smelling!! which is nice to note in a town centre cafe.

TYPICAL STORE!!
GREAT STORE IN THE MIDDLE OF PAIGNTON-RIGHT OPPOSITE THE RAILWAY STATION.EVERYTHING YOU COULD EVER WANT-FROM NEWSPAPER TO CHOCOLATES TO DVD'S TO CD'S TO GREETINGS CARDS TO HOMEWARE!! need i see more!! the restaurant upstairs is really good aswell considering!!!!!

average carvery in town
large seating area. placed in the middle of paignton's torbay road it is in an ideal spot to attract local trade-the carvery is ok-not a huge selection of vegetables and found the meat to be warm no where near hot!! yorkshire puds werent the best either!!

great place on a saturday and sunday night!! always reviewing new bands which are usually great!! large seating area outside and play area for kids good size inside wtih plenty of seating upstairs or downstairs.a good local night out!!

very busy pub
very big inside and plenty of seating areas outside!!! always entertainment on and usually very good!! the carvery is good although if very busy the meats can be warm as opposed to red hot-great selection of veg friendly service and toilets are very clean!! which make a refreshing change

what a carvery
this place used to be not a great place to eat-what a difference!! the carvery is wonderfu!!! what a wonderful selection of veg!!! the meat is warm and gravy always hot!! the puddings are gorgeous but the portions are quite large!!! a pleasant pub to have a good meal with good company!!
