Don't look for it 
Because it's not there any more. Which is a shame really as you could get some nice things in there. They had a bit of vintage style even if the prices weren't all that old fashioned. You didn't much shilling and pence change from your pound.

It's not M&S
The M&S brand is all about quality and customer service so why they have a shop like this is beyond me. M&S isn't about end of line bargains and cheap returns. This is just full of the stuff M&S customers don't want and it's not hard to see why...

Taking the fun out of functional... 
I'm not sure why Cotton Traders has a discount store here as I've yet to find anywhere that you have to pay full price for their clothing. Just make sure they don't get hold of your email address, they won't stop hassling you.

Christmas presents 
These are proper teddy bears: the sort that are too nice to give to children! You can't help but think that most of them look like they'll end up being collected rather than hugged and loved. There aren't many places like this.

My first time...
This was my introduction to the whole Starbucks experience and to be honest with you it wasn't bad. But that's Starbucks for you. And because it's Starbucks it wasn't all the great either. There are more interesting places to go, and as this one's often quite full (it is very small) they may be worth seeking out...

It's one of those lovely old corner house pubs, but boy do they know how to charge for their beer. And to be honest there are better pints to be had in London...

Expensive
I'm a bloke so for me shoes are only ever functional rather than a thing of beauty to be admired. All I see when I go in here is that their shoes are two or three times the price of what you can get somewhere else.

Tale of two Cities
I love the building that this Waterstone's is in: the downstairs is a bit of a rabbit warren and you can easily get lost, then upstairs it's just cavernous. Go for the deals rather than the selection/choice.

Monkey Magic
I'm not a big zoo/animal person, but what I like about Monkey World is that you can see that they are actually trying to achieve something. Some of the visitor facilities are a bit dated, but's really about the primates not the people, and seeing them well looked after is the main thing.

The Indian Chinese Chinese Indian 
It's a buffet rather than a restaurant and it's all you can eat: once you get the concept, away you go! There's just piles of food, and the bar's very reasonably priced: indulge!
