Review of The Duke Of York

Seek and ye will find...
Possibly easier to get to from Doughty Street than down the Mews from Guilford Street The Duke (as they now like it to be called) still has a weird art deco atmos which is worth seeking out even if £3.30 for a pint of Adnams Broadside is a bit cheeky...

Review of The Charles Dickens Museum

Great Expectations
To actually be inside the house where Dickens wrote some of his early (and best) novels is a slightlu surreal experience. It's an insight into how he lived rather than the work he did, but to be this close to such an important part of our literary culture is still a privilege.
