Worth stopping 
I find this place quite handy when we're out walking on The Tarka Trail as it's nice to pop in, buy a pint, then sit outside and enjoy the sunshine, but I don't know if I'd like to be stuck in there of an evening...

Smashing!
Their real skill here is when it comes to glass engraving: when those older relatives are having one of those landmark occasions they're so keen on you can get them something here and they'll personalise it for them.

Review of Black Horse

Always busy 
The Black Horse has got to be one of the most famous buildings in Torrington and it wears its history with pride. The bar is on the left as you go in with a surprisingly large restaurant to the rear: great for Sunday lunch.
