Review of Park Road Swimming Pools

Great sport centre 5*

This is a fantastic sports centre. The facilities are modern and never too busy. There is an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a deep diving pool. The centre also has a great gym with very modern equipment using the wellness key system. The gym is very full of the usual meat heads but everyday people. Lots of TV screens. There is also a studio for all the usual classes and of course a sauna. Great value at £35pcm all in!!

Review of XFM

X cellent! 5*

Dave Berry and Alex Zane are great. Either Xu or XFM itself had to die a death and thankfully it was the former. Presenters have always been a core strength of the station and now they’re back in force. The music has always been great but now they have that Xtra something back.

Review of Rhinefield House Hotel

The perfect retreat! 5*

I decided very late doors to wisk away the mrs to a 5 star retreat for some R&R. I found this place through laterooms.com and booked for the next day. The location is surreal and exactly what you search for when you think country manor. It'slocated in the middle of the new forest. Having driven through the forest you drive down a long driveway to the most amazing castle sized country manor. The hotel has indoor and outdoor pools, health spa, gym, 2 restaurants and much more to fill your time. The rooms are very large with 50" plasma TVs in each. The hotel mixes modern comforts with a tradional backdrop. The grounds are beautiful and would make the perfect seeting for summer events. The staff are very friendly and the food matches the best london restaurants. Well worth a visit!!

Review of Dans Le Noir

Dinner in the dark 5*

What a fantastic experience! Eating a meal completely in the dark with waiters serving you who are blind. The experience really does give you insight into their lives. You can pick your food before going in or select the "suprise" menu which is designed to test your other senses. Very funny evening with conversations with random people sitting next to you. The meal will take a couple of hours but a great talking point. Costs about £50 a head with wine.

Review of The Tiffin Tin

Best curry in North London 5*

I know it sounds like quite the claim but I have done my fair amount of takeaway research. Haviong just come back from India I can honestly say this place is the closest you'll get to the authentic great taste with a little bit extra. Deliveries are in very stylish boxes with good presentation and quick delivery drivers. The food itself is absolutely top notch. The prices aren't the cheapest but are reasonable for the quality. A must for any curry fan.

Review of Alexandra Park Dental Practice

Fantastic NHS dentist 5*

A very clean and friendly practice. On first joining you get free xrays taken and a half hour consultation with the offer of going NHS or private. The hygienist is in 2 days a week and resonably priced at £30 for half an hour clean. I can always get last minute appointments to suit me.
