Expensive but worth every penny 
Light and airy, well spaced tables, polite, attentive staff and an extensive menu makes this places a real treat!
Things to try are the roast pork belly, the fish of the day and unbelivably the ham croquettes!! The food really is exquisite!
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone though beware of the price - the final bill can be something of a shock!

Perfect for client dining...
I love this place for client dining, it's the perfect blend of good food and smart decor without being ridiculously overpriced.
Staff are attentive, food is freshly prepared and there is a good choice of wines.

Great vibe but quite expensive 
There's a couple of leather couches at the front of this restaurant which are perfect relaxing with a big glass of wine after work.
However, I do find the menu is generally overpriced across food and wine and what should be a relatively laid-back, inexpensive evening aways ends in disappointment when the bill arrives! I just don't feel you get value for money here...

Getting better
Mortlake station is definitely getting better. Train information is now readily available, which is a definite bonus it's just a shame that there are only 4 trains an hour and the majority of the time they are delayed and very busy...

Trustworthy mechanics 
I have been going to Chris and Chris mechanics since I got my first car and they are brilliant.
It's so hard to find a garage where you don't feel intimdated or patronised and I would definitely recommend them.
They always do a good job and are reasonably priced.

An absolute gem!
I LOVE this cafe because of the quality of ingredients and cooking - it's a winner everytime.
The cafe is tiny so be prepared to be squished in but the fresh fruit juices and gorgeous homemade dishes are the perfect combination for a great breakfast! It is a little on the expensive side but if you're happy to pay for quality - then check this place out.
They have a great lunch menu which includes salads, baked pasta dishes and fresh sandwiches too, as well as takeaways and catering for small parties.
I'm hooked on this place - it's such a local gem!!!

Good cakes!
This cafe is great for having a coffee and a lovely big piece of homemade cake. The space is quite small and tables are packed in but the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Perfect for a nice catch up with friends and family

Wonderful experience
It's so refreshing to find a Michellin star restaurant that isn't pretentious!
This place is a guaranteed winner - the atmosphere is relaxed and respectful, the food is absolutely incredible and the knowledge of the staff was exceptional!! Honestly, we learnt so much about wine and cheese that night, it was brilliant!
It is expensive but so ideal for a romantic special occasion - I would recommend this restaurant without a doubt!!

No direction at all 
I made the mistake of visiting the most attentive and helpful bridal shop before going to The Wedding Shop in Selfridges - which I felt was such a huge let down.
I didn't know where to begin when I started looking for my dress - I had an idea in my head but I really wanted to try on all the different styles to make sure I was buying the right dress, style, colour and detail to suit me (not some 6 ft model I'd seen in a magazine).
The first place I went to asked me to choose the dress that I thought I wanted - which turned out to be a complete nightmare as it didn't suit me at all. Then the shop assistant listened to my comments of what I felt was wrong about the dress and guided me to the perfect dress which I immediately fell in love with.
So when I turned up at Selfridges, I was kind of expecting the same level of service - but sadly this was not to be. I was told to pick out 4 dresses to try on, which was mind-boggling when you're in a tiny area cornered off from the main shop, surrounded by about 150 dresses.
The assistant disappeared for about 15mins and finally returned to find me utterly confused. I asked her to help guide me through the dresses but she told me just to pick 4 that I liked.
I ended up trying on 4 dresses which weren't right for me at all, so the whole thing was a waste of time. I tried to explain what I was looking for but the assistant just didn't offer any advice (perhaps she didn't really know the stock well enough?)
Anyway - I felt that the whole experience was such a let-down and a waste of time, I wouldn't bother going there unless you are absolutely certain you want a Vera Wang original...

Great dining
I love this place for somewhere laid back and perfect for big groups. The restaurant is in a great location next to the River Thames and opposite The Green. It has a beautiful conservatory, attentive staff and a great menu.
I've got nothing bad to say about the ASK restaurants... they have always been great when we've been there - and we're a family of 12!
