Review of Captain Kidd

Small and perfectly formed riverside pub.
This quaint pub on the riverside, made me think I was stepping back in time, it looks like it hasn't changed since the early 19th century, which I really like. Old half timbered walls, good ales and beers, historical pictures on the wall, it all made for a very cosy and warming experience. It is in a great location too, literally on the river, you can sit and watch the tide encroching on you, while you sup on your drink! There is also a generous outdoor seating area, which is well worth a visit in the summertime, a great place to relax and watch the world go by. They serve food, but only until mid afternoon, which is the only slight drawback I can see, otherwise, great!
