old fashioned pub 
The pub is full of locals and the food is OK, but the service is a bit slow. Their homemade pies are ok. The 3 course mega-deal was very reasonable and a midweek delight. I was thrilled. .

Fancy a buttie? 
Fresh sandwiches and rolls made to order. jacket potatoes. gammon and apple sauce is to die for. and the lamb and minty mayo. strange combo but it works. they deliver and they're really friendly.

a hard pub quiz 
Thursday night is pub quiz night at the Hare. my team have won once and come second once but it's pretty hard. some of the questions you just don't need to know, but I keep going back so it must be good. the staff are very friendly and they have guest ales. try it!
