A handy addition to a local shopping centre. 
Corner shops are an integral part of any neighbourhood and are important for so many reasons.
McColls in Kempston is bigger than your normal corner shop, in fact it is a mini market, very spacious which makes it look half empty at times but they stock all the essential items with a good range of publications and there is a post office in store which is a god send.
Not bad...could do better!

Fabulous evening..... 
It has been a while since we had a Greek Restaurant in Bedford, so it was great news when Yiamas opened.
..And boy did they open in style. Words can't do enough justice to the experience of a really great night out here, you must try it for yourself.
Great traditional well cooked delicious food, superb entertainment and really nice staff.
A top night out !

Stuffed Full 
JJB Sports stock many lines of sporting wear and equipment in all their shops, and an impressive display it makes too, as you will know if you have visited one of their stores.
Sadly the store in Bedford town stock all the afore mentioned, but they don't seem to realise that it is a small shop!
It can be quite claustrophobic in there at times it is far too full and can be uncomfortable.

Good clobber ! 
I never thought I would tell the world that I enjoy shopping in NEXT....I always thought that store was the domain of women only.
But I am converted there is a great range of clothing for all members of the family and the recently refurbed store looks the business.
the staff are really helpful and friendly...and they don't do that annoying "can I help you" thing...they let you look and leave you to it.
Brilliant.

They used to sell TV's - only ! 
Now they are in to all sorts..it started with CB radios, and have progressed to computers these days.
However, the advice from some of their staff regarding PC components is flawed at times, and the old adage of a little bit of knowledge can be a dangerous thing is apparent here.
Not the best place in town for the sort of goods they sell, so make sure you look at other businesses before yo buy anything here !

They don't do tap dancing!
No frills at this shop in Kempston, because it is a place where you go to pick up the materials you need...everything you need for your project, drainage, heating or general plumbing jobs.
The team will bend over backwards to get a solution to your problem and can source any 'named' part for you in the shortest time.
A good company offering great customer service.

If you still use film in your camera or if you do digital your needs are all catered for here.
You can upload your digital images to a PC then write them to a CD in easy stages.
With roll film you can get them developed, enlarged and reprinted. Black and White or Colour nothing is too much trouble.

Recently refurbished this McDonald's makes a change from from the all too tired usual restaurants. the food as you would expect is the normal standard, but it is well worth dropping in even for just a coffee to check out the makeover !

A Fence !
A name that resounds around Bedfordshire as a leader in fencing solutions, their ad boards can be seen on many huge contracts.
I wish they would have paid more attention to the little job I gave them...a garden fence..it took two attempts for them to get it straight and to follow my simple requests.
It took two weeks to complete my job. I won't use them again!

Like Chinese..try these...
I have only been to this restaurant once, and why?...well believe me it had nothing to do with the food for that was aromatic and delicious...really delicious.
The service was very attentive, and the surroundings were....ok.
It was a moment that every waitress dreads...spilling food all over a customer....yeah...I was that customer, they were great about the whole thing and no harm was done.......bless em'.
I shall return soon !!!
