Review of The Postal Order

cheap and cheerful 3*

Postal Order is very cheap so its good for a budget and early pre bar drinks.

They also do english breakfasts for about £3.00...Bargain!

It isnt the nicest pub inside but it is really big, there are loads of seats and it is very close to the town centre.

Review of The Kings Head Inn

The kings Head 4*

The picture is old on here, but the kings head has had a huge revamp, it is now a bar and grill and it is delicious!!! Aswell as restuarant tables there is comfy seats in the back, and they have a courtyard garden which sits beside the canal. A lovely place to eat and chill all round.

Review of Reindeer Inn

Great Carvery! 5*

The Reindeer Inn serves a lovely carvery dinner on a sunday. It is quite expensive but the food is great and i have never had any complaints or issues with my food, service or staff. The restuarant itself is also fresh and modern.

Review of Red Lion

10 Apr 08, 06:44

Good food 4*

The Red Lion serves lovely food, my faveourite used to be the chicken sandwich and chips yumm! anyway, there is a carpark right opposite, altough it is pay and display during the day (and it isn't that big, but it is worth finding a space if the car park is full). It is fairly small, but they have a gareden with covers and heaters. I recommened this pub for a nice light luch and a drink :D

Review of The Raven

09 Apr 08, 06:32

carvery... 4*

In the week, the Raven has always got a space for you to eat your carvery, it is cheap and there is a massive freshly prepared selection. You can also choose off the normal menu or have carvery plus, which is a help your self selection of salads, and other hot meals. I also like the Raven on a sunday, however i didnt give it 5 stars because the price goes up alot, its always really busy and you struggle to get a seat straight away, and the standards arent as good. But i definately reccommend it as a weekday lunch!
